Palin: Pointing Fingers at Bush, in the past, is NOT Change

Perhaps one of my favorite clips from the Vice Presidential debate last night was when Sarah Palin challenged the "change" that Obama/Biden represent, versus the reform that McCain/Palin represent. Obama and Biden are pushing the blame game, attempting to play off the emotion of the people, insisting that "A Republican by any other name is still a Bush!"

Palin struck back with the following:

h/t to Brigate for posting this clip at: Desde la resistencia - where she also explains why McCain may be hesitant to visit with her President in Spain.

Sarah Palin is right. Once the next President gets in office the fingers are going to be pointed at him! So your strategy had better be more than pointing fingers to bring the country together.

Real change is a reform in government - not a societal change of leftist policies and hate politics - there is no "Unity" in that... merely a political catch phrase. Obama has no record of Unity, and is openly disgusted by conservatives and Republicans in General. So much for "Change"

    Steve, you're clueless, my friend.

Forget about Mequeno and Palin. They're toast. And the GOP may very well be history.

Forget about this illegitimate tertium quid between false conservatism and true conservatism.

    Opt for the true.

Wash your hands of compromise, and choose the right way. Leave the RMA, and go solo.

It worked for John the Baptist. It worked for any number of the marginalized.

Join me on the margin. It's lonely, but the upside is you'll be speaking truth.

And that has to count for something, don't you think.

You don't belong here, bro. In your heart, you know I'm "right".

(Are you old enough to know that I'm paraphrasing a slogan from the Goldwater campaign?

Goldwater: the denizens of RMA aren't worthy.)

  2. I think my favorite part was when Palin said Americans need to come together and agree that "NEVER AGAIN" will we let ourselves be taken advantage of.

The REAL change we need is in Congress since it's Congressional Democrats and Obama who were DIRECTLY involved in laying the foundation for the current economic crisis.
