Obama's Egyptian Blunder, Constitutional Mis-step

Obama's call for the resignation of the Egyptian President is unfounded. The long time US ally has been a stabilizing force in the region for three decades. There is no animosity between the US and Egypt (until yesterday). We supply their munitions which provides for their defense, jobs, and the protection of trade routes in the region. A stable Egypt is very important for world commerce and regional security. One has to question the motives of Obama; one has to, just 24 hours after Obama denounced the Egyptian ally, smack their forehead in disbelief at the foreign policy blunder on order of Jimmy Carter.

Obama couldn't resist the opportunity to appear as a mouthpiece for a populist movement, doing so on behalf of 'democracy'. He made a poorly calculated move to appear as the bringer of peace and stability, the voice of reason. His voice emboldened the anti-protesters (the pro-government civilians) who had, until then, been silent. Obama sent scores of people into the streets to send the message that the protests to overthrow the government, and the opinion of the US Embarrassment in Chief, are not conducive to stability or continued secularity. Pro-government civilians have already eluded to the speech of Obama as the tipping point in taking to the streets in violent clashes against the protesters.

The abandonment of the Egyptian government by the US has put the region at risk of a major conflict, threatens shipping, and places a potential for a theocratic regime to sweep into power on an Iranian style anti-US message. Obama has placed millions of lives at risk, has endangered US interests and forces in the region, and has lost credibility with other allies who are facing similar populist criticism. His risk seems to have suffered an immediate backlash, and could prove to be the 1979 of the Obama administration.

The best approach Obama could have taken is to remain neutral in what was a non-violent situation. The country has a constitution. The country has defenses. The country has a population empowered and free enough to petition the government for redress of grievances. If Obama believes that a country's laws, her constitution, are so unimportant so as to completely dismiss them, then why not acknowledge the same of ours...

oh wait... nevermind.

The Hawaii Controversy

The Presidential election season is upon us. In less than two short years we will be swearing in a POTUS, be it the incumbent buffoon, or the next buffoon. Yet somewhere, lurking in the shadows of the 2012 election is the dirty secret from the 2008 election... fueled by racist animosity, harsh political divide, and a general anger toward life. The far-right-leaning Birther Movement has begun creeping its head out of the dusty shadows and into the headlines...

stop the press... did I say far-right-leaning...

But... but... Bill Maher, Keith Olbermann, and the entire cast of the left-wing media is reporting that it is the angry racist conservative Tea Partiers... so it must be true... right?

Don't believe it for a moment. The true story, especially if this becomes a talking point in the 2012 primary and campaign is that it has been a DEMOCRAT Governor and a former CLINTON employee and Hawaii gov. employee who have been pushing this story again and again.

source, WND

This is a softball topic - low hanging fruit. But I've already begun to see conversation start up in blogs, tweets, and other social mediums dominated by conservatives... a fact that the MSM will surely report on in a few months as "right wing chatter" about the Birth Certificate of President Obama.

Make no mistake, this is a trap. It is a snare being obviously placed to enrage and confuse the issues, in hopes that anti-Obama voters will be seen as nut-job conspiracy theorists. Follow the bread crumbs to this gingerbread house and you will find yourself face to face with Democrats... the same ones who started the story will now want to boil you for discussing it.

Obama's Plan to Try Terror Suspects in Civil Courts Backfiring

Imagine the response if the hundreds of thousands of prisoners of war during WWII were shipped to the United States for trial in civilian courts. I suppose we live in a different time, and fight different battles. It appears that the latest battle by Obama, to try terror suspects in civilian courts, is one that we are determined to lose.

The court ruled today that the Government's star witness cannot testify, because his testimony to the CIA was given only after severe coercion while in custody. The government asked for a delay in the trial to reorganize its case.

What is most predictable in this case is that there is a possibility that the defendant can be found not guilty due to lack of constitutionally acquired evidence and released to walk out the front doors of the court house. This question was posed to Obama, about if he was ready and willing to accept such a ruling and allow known enemies of the state out of US custody and out into the streets? His response is that none of them would win their case - a statement I likened to a kangaroo court (knowing the outcome before the trial).

In any case, it seems that the government is in a tight spot, and we may be a week away from a mistrial, where the headlines will undoubtedly read "Obama's Miscalculation Frees Known Terrorist". That is right. I am sure that no blame will be placed on the divine one!

Here Come the TAXES!

Like prophets foretelling the coming of a great calamity, the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) partiers have vehemently decried the explosion in rate of government growth, if for nothing more, for issues of fiscal concerns. Now, just a month after a controversial, and unfundable, Healthcare law was signed by Obama, the issue of money is coming to the forefront.

Obama is reportedly keeping all options 'On The Table'... for those of you who don't know what the definition of 'IS' is, that is Obama-ese for 'Here come the taxes!'

In order to pay for the indulgent and pork laden federal government, Obama and Congress are considering a Value Added Tax in addition to all current forms of taxation on the people - the same tax that drives up the cost of consumer end items by as much as 17% in the UK. A tax, I might add, that directly impacts the poor and middle class of this country more than any other. The cost, the government will argue, will be captured at the manufacturing level, not at the consumer level. However, it is obvious to anyone who understands cost flowdown that any impact to the bottom line is flowed down to the end item - to the consumer. The consumers who will feel the impact more than anyone else are those with whom wealth does not dwell.

I have a few suggestions, if Obama really is putting ALL options on the table:
1. Cease funding all unconstitutional and unnecessary federal government agencies, programs, and organizations. Cut federal government spending across the board not by 2% or even 5%. Cut the spending by 80%. There is no reason why the federal government should have a budget of $3 - $4 Trillion annually... By dissecting the budget to under a trillion dollars, focus entirely on mandatory spending, and eliminating wealth redistribution the People of the United States will see an increase of $2 - $3 Trillion in the marketplace (not the federal government), and a return to state's authority of self governance.

2. End the dependence on the Federal Reserve, thus eliminating the federal government paying interest on it's own monies. by ending the federal reserve, the US government will spare hundreds of billions annually in simple interests on monies technically owned by the federal government to begin with. The responsibility of coining money lies with the Treasury - not a non-governmental conglomerate of banks known as the federal reserve. We are giving away money to 'big bad banks' - if they are the problem, STOP. Use the constitution to coin money that is NOT a Federal Reserve Note.

3. Scale back the length of session and the pay for federal employees. For the government to operate successfully, the Legislative session need be no more than 3 months a year and the day to day management of the countries can rest with the people and the states, and in case of emergency, the Executive. With a smaller government, less staff, less pay requirements, etc - the US can streamline and spread power to where it is constitutionally reserved - THE STATES AND THE PEOPLE!

None of these idealistic pipe dreams, however, will be discussed by Obama and his team... In fact, they are only concerned with INCREASING power at the federal level, taxing the proles into oblivion, and ensuring that the bridge between those with jobs and those with power is never breached...

So sit back, enjoy the ride... cause here come the taxes!

The problem with repealing "Don't ask, don't tell"

The concept of "Don't ask, don't tell", established during the Clinton years, was not only a viable option for gays and lesbians to use in serving in the US Military, rather, it was a opportunity for heterosexuals to bypass the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

When in the military you are governed by a different set of rules than the average citizen, called the Uniform Code of Military Justice, or UCMJ for short. The section of the UCMJ specifically regarding the code of conduct of a soldier, sailor, airman, or marine with regards to "homosexuality" is UCMJ Article 125 - Sodomy. The UCMJ, as taught during basic training, is a higher standard to which enlisted men and officers must hold themselves as representatives of the United States Military. It is a series of strict guidelines, restricting how you talk (no swearing), how you dress, how you organize your closet, etc. It is difficult for non-military individuals to understand the pride and honor that is supposed to go into being in the military - the honor of serving in the defense of the states. Orders like "Don't ask, don't tell" encourage deceit in the face of the UCMJ, and should absolutely be stricken down.

However, this does not come without a cost - which brings me back to the Article 125 issue. The wording of 125 is as follows:

TEXT: (a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.

(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall by punished as a court-martial may direct.”

Elements.

(1) That the accused engaged in unnatural carnal copulation with a certain other person or with an animal. (Note: Add either or both of the following elements, if applicable)

(2) That the act was done with a child under the age of 16.

(3) That the act was done by force and without the consent of the other person.

Explanation.

It is unnatural carnal copulation for a person to take into that person’s mouth or anus the sexual organ of another person or of an animal; or to place that person’s sexual organ in the mouth or anus of another person or of an animal; or to have carnal copulation in any opening of the body, except the sexual parts, with another person; or to have carnal copulation with an animal.

Lesser included offenses.

(1) With a child under the age of 16.

(a) Article 125—forcible sodomy (and offenses included therein; see subparagraph (2) below)

(b) Article 134—indecent acts with a child under 16

(c) Article 80—attempts

(2) Forcible sodomy.

(a) Article 125—sodomy (and offenses included therein; see subparagraph (3) below)

(b) Article 134—assault with intent to commit sodomy

(c) Article 134—indecent assault

(d) Article 80—attempts.

(3) Sodomy.

(a) Article 134—indecent acts with another: Explanation."Indecent" signifies that form of immorality relating to sexual impurity which is not only grossly vulgar, obscene, and repugnant to common propriety, but tends to excite lust and deprave the morals with respect to sexual relations.

(b) Article 80—attempts

Maximum punishment.

(1) By force and without consent. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for life without eligibility for parole.

(2) With a child who, at the time of the offense, has attained the age of 12 but is under the age of 16 years. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 20 years.

(3) With a child under the age of 12 years at the time of the offense. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for life without eligibility for parole.

(4) Other cases. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years"
In general, the "offense" of the homosexual soldier is Sodomy - an act that is defined as openly and morally depraved - including oral and anal sex of all manners. Such conduct, in regards to the UCMJ, is less than honorable, and worthy of punishment.

My question is this: to what standards do we hold our men and women who serve? Should they encourage depraved acts of purely carnal pleasure, or should the military uphold sodomy laws during terms of service - demanding a higher standard of self control in what is right or not?

Of course, our society now openly embraces oral sex, anal sex, freaky this, and sexy that... commercials are Cialis followed by Victoria Secret followed by Viagra... there are low rise jeans, low V shirts, wonder bras, and "Go Daddy" ads... We are a sexually charged, uncontrolled, and sexually addicted society. Don't believe me? Where Playboy and Hustler were the "Taboo" of my youth, children today are barraged with free online hardcore sexual images and videos - one being so bold at one point to obtain the domain name "whitehouse.com" (as opposed to whitehouse.gov) which lead you to explicit images (this site has since been removed - I ran across this one at age 17). Every aspect of marketing and entertainment drive toward the carnal sexual desire.

So what?

Do we lower our expectations of our military men and women? Do we encourage acts of sodomy? Do we care? Do we hold ourselves to any standard, or does it not matter? Does carnal pleasure lead to evils of one sort or another? Does current conduct of military personnel indicate an adherence to sodomy laws? Are those military laws simply outdated?

There are a few points that need to be addressed for the sake of this argument - so please let me round this up:

1. You cannot simply repeal DADT without addressing the UCMJ guidelines on Sodomy. What is the military law is the military law - DADT was a 'verbal' order to ignore certain parts of the written military law. Should the UCMJ be changed?

2. There is a double standard - that which the "market" expects of us (sexual desire) and that which the UCMJ expects of the soldiers. Should we hold our service personnel to a higher moral standard than that of the sexually charged civilian populace?

3. Our enlisted men now perform acts of sodomy, and more. There are soldiers who target married women, and those who have the pictures to prove it (both in violation of UCMJ). There are those in civilian life who do the same. Does living a "carnal" lifestyle in private adversely affect one's ability to perform job functions?

4. There is no doubt that our society has changed over the last 234 years with regards, specifically, to sexual promiscuity - from both sexes. Do we hinder ourselves by adhering to "arcane" laws such as those pertaining to Sodomy, or is this the last shred of sexual moral fiber to which we should hold ever more tightly?

The problem with repealing DADT is not so much the act of allowing gays in the military as it is asking the military to lower the standard code of conduct to allow that which was once regarded as 'moral depravity'. Should the military be expected to control the sexual desires and conduct of those in service to this degree?

In this great experiment in liberty, at what point do we define (and subsequently redefine) morality?

Repealing DADT is easy to say, and easy to do - the simple stroke of a pen. But rewriting the UCMJ's Sodomy laws... what does that say about how far we've come...

So Much for Transperacy: Obama Lies and Lies...

The Trillion Dollar health care bill being negotiated right now, by Democrats alone, and behind closed doors, is in direct contradiction to Obama's repetitive campaign promise:

At the same time the C-SPAN CEO is slamming Obama for his use of C-SPAN promises during the campaign and completely reneging on the simple promise of transparent negotiations on Health Care.

Imagine what else this clown said that was a lie - anyone else ready for some real Change?

Support candidates like Craig Williams for US Senate and James Watkins for US Congress (both from the state of WA).

Let's put everyday citizens in the government who will return the government to the everyday citizen!

THERE'S TO BE NO VOLUNTEERS!

In Allentown, PA a local SEIU (Services Employee International Union) is targeting city officials for hiring a scab to do "Union Work".

The scab was 17 year old Eagle Scout Kevin Anderson.
The union work was 200 hours worth of volunteer time clearing brush for a new city bike/walk path in order to earn a Scout Badge.

The SEIU President, Nick "the Bozo" Balzano has threatened the Allentown City Council with a grievance for allowing this questionable character to perform expensive union work for FREE. The Bozo also threatened the Eagle Scout personally, stating "We'll be looking into the Cub Scout or Boy Scout who did the trails".
Anderson, a junior and varsity soccer player at Southern Lehigh High School, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 301 of Center Valley.

He got the idea for the trail while taking hikes along the partially complete, 165-mile Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor. He noticed there were a few missing connections to the trail in Kimmets Lock Park, which is on the Lehigh River near Dauphin Street. He already has logged 250 hours trying to carve out a walking and biking trail along the river.

"I decided to do my part in completing this part of the trail. In that way, others could enjoy walking along the river, without having to walk on the busy road," Anderson said in an e-mail Friday.
In response to the attention the story is getting, the Bozo delivered a short remark: "We are probably going to let this one go"

Balzano said Saturday he isn't targeting Boy Scouts. But given the city's decision in July to lay off 39 SEIU members, Balzano said "there's to be no volunteers." No one except union members may pick up a hoe or shovel, plant a flower or clear a walking path.
In another issue concerning a non SEIU electrician, as the SEIU electrician was on extended sick leave and excessive absences, Bozo stated "In the spirit of the holiday, we decided to let that go"

The common theme - you deal with Union Employees or nothing gets done.

My response to this story, run the entire lot of these SEIU thugs out of town. If I walk past a clogged storm drain, I am going to move the leaves blocking the drain allowing the water to clear the street or walkway... It is my duty as a citizen to do my part in the general upkeep of our shared infrastructure... I should not have to worry about mobsters threatening to break my rakes or hoes for "stealing their work".

This union mob mentality is what is disturbing about this country... it robs the sense of volunteerism, it destroys competitive markets, and it robs our public coffers. If I were the mayor of Allentown, PA, I would look the Bozo directly in the eye and tell him to get his band of thugs out of this town before I have the sheriff run them out! I would then terminate all SEIU contracts and push for city law to hire only non-union employees, and ask for citizen support in doing so by sweeping your own storefront to save funds on street sweepers, clear the city jail for chain gangs to clean up trash at the parks, etc. I would lead by example, with a strong and heavy anti-union hand, instilling personal pride in the community and build a renewed sense of volunteerism...

I would get my town back on track... I would be a leader in my region to get our society back on track... and I would send a message to the POTUS and his SEIU thugs that THIS is how you support a society, by instilling pride and personal ownership - not thuggery and mob tactics - especially not toward children!

Rangel to Obama: BACK OFF!

In the most obscene use of blogging acronym, I am ROTFLMFAO.

Charlie Rangel, the long time NY Democratic Senator, known tax evading crook, and Marxist Democrat is slamming The Elite One, B.H. Obama over his encroachment into the affairs of NY State Politics.

THE IRONY in Rangel telling BHO to back off is that it is the same message we are trying to get across to Obama AND Congress when it comes to State's Rights issues, Health Care, Education, Guns, Marriage...

But to Rangel and his Marxist friends in the DNC it is only inconvenient when it affects you personally... like the way all those line items listed above affect EVERY AMERICAN.

As you protest, sir, SO DO WE!

And WE wonts stop until you...

Obama ignores Disaster in GA

h/t to Redhead Agenda

Death Toll 9

$250 million in damage

Hundreds of roads washed away leaving thousands of residents stranded in rushing flood waters.
Scores of bridges now at risk of failing due to floodwater stress on surrounding infrastructure.

It has been two days... the storm is finally letting off in some areas... and FEMA has yet to be activated. President Obama is ignoring the calls for federal help from GA's governor. It took Obama two days to contact the State's governor, meanwhile he had the time to appear on the Letterman Show to promote his Health Care agenda.

In Georgia, levies have broken, rivers are flowing through towns, the region is being crippled by flood waters... and the national weather service is calling for at least four more days of rain in the region.

With the exception of 150 mph winds and a Republican who "Hates Black People", this is on par with Katrina. An entire region underwater. Fortunately the Atlanta area has adequate drainage, and the waters will recede.

What is unfortunate is that Obama has ignored the calls for help from the GA Governor, is withholding immediate FEMA response to help those displaced by the storm, and the media is ignoring the story altogether! George Bush would have been crucified if he had ignored a region in peril, and is still criticized for his handling of Katrina... but apparently you get the pass if no one is aware of the tragedy unfolding for our brothers and sisters in GA.

Another case of Democrat hypocrisy.

disclaimer: I believe that State Government is responsible for emergency services, and that the GA governor is handling his state's tragedy with respect, decorum, and prompt attention to areas hit the hardest. It is not my belief that FEMA is even a necessary program, nor do I believe that it is the responsibility of the Federal Government to jump in and bail out regions in distress. States should be supported to lead efforts of this nature.

The Pot calling the Kettle... well...

The Pot, in this case, is clearly a racist, for the pot has called the kettle black - a clear "White hooded" technique that should make all Kettles fear, and rise up in support of Health care...

You see what I did there... Now, if you don't support health care reform (Obamacare) you are no better than a white hooded racist ready to ride the countryside intimidating people. Take the following example of Democrat Hank Johnson - to question the President and Democratic lies over the healthcare bill and the loopholes for illegals, we are at risk of a KKK resurgence:

I cannot make this stuff up! It is so scary how real it is... and it seems to never end!

So we say amongst ourselves - Just Fire that Democrat Hank Johnson - he is a clear race baiting politician aimed at dividing this country on some imaginary claim of racism.

But it goes deeper than that. Former President Jimmy Carter now determined to convince Americans that Joe Wilson's "YOU LIE" statement was clearly motivated by race.

This is what I think of racism.

Why this overwhelming push for classifying any protester or dissenter of the President, the Democratic platform, or the Socialist agenda as RACIST?

Simple - they force the dissenters into "proving the negative"... at least that is their intent.

For example, two men decide to have a debate about healthcare. The first man gives an opening statement like this:
"Government sponsored healthcare is not only a right, but essential to the people living in the inner city with low income and a general inability to cover any healthcare costs. To deny these people equal access to healthcare is to deny them the right to life. Without free healthcare, the people of the inner city are being sentenced to 'genocide by omission'. My opponents steadfast protest of providing free healthcare is clearly motivated by a support of the ideal that the people of the inner city aren't worthy of saving based solely on their race. His lack of respect for the people of this race make his protest not only a sad mark on our society, but an immoral one."

The second man may have a prepared opening statement, but no one wants to hear it... they want to hear him defend himself against these charges of racism and support of genocide. In fact, if he doesn't defend himself his opponent will openly admit that his lack of denial is an acknowledgement of his underlying racist tendencies...

Before you know it, the citizenry are confused... "are we listening to a debate about healthcare, or are we listening to an argument about racial superiority?"

We knew this would happen... that any dissent with this president would be seen as racist in nature, consciously racially motivated, or even indicative of our subconscious racial ideals unaware even to us... WOW... that is deep... there is no way around it, we are all secretly or subconsciously racist!

Listen... I hope people are catching on to this and it is not just me. I hope that as the left continues to throw the charges of racism at the right on every issue of dissent that people will open their eyes to this tactic and understand the lies and filth that keep the Democratic engine running.

Perhaps, however, if the lie is told enough the sheeple will believe it...

Obama Polls indicate ~5% less popular than Bush

The great Savior and Messiah is in a bit of a pickle. RCP Poll averages for this week have Obama's approval ratings at an all time low, and dropping fast! His current average is 51.8% Approval, with 42% disapproval.

During the period of Aug 24 - Aug 26th of Bush's first term, he ranked as 55% approval with only 36% disapproval.

Obama, in late August of his first term is LESS POPULAR than George W Bush, and MORE PEOPLE DISAPPROVE with his job as President.

Obama's poll numbers place him behind Jimmy Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., and GW Bush at this same time in August of their first term (Ford excluded because he replaced Nixon mid-term). Obama is only slightly more popular than Clinton, with disapproval numbers about the same.

What this means for Obama is that, barring some national crisis that bumps his numbers, he is on pace to be the worst president in recent history.

Way to go there, Slugger!

I bet you HOPE public opinion could be CHANGEd... not with the crap you're ramming down our throats. More likely you will have to assume dictatorial powers to crush opposition to your pathetic government.

If the "go-it-alone" approach in Iraq was such a bad idea for Bush, what makes you think it will work in America on Health Care or any other bill?

You would be better off setting the cruise control and waiting for 2010 and 2012 to come and wipe your mistakes away.

Through the Looking Glass, and What Obama Found There

Lewis Carroll's sequel to Alice In Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, sprang into my head this morning acting as an inspiration for my perspective of the world today.

For those not familiar with Through the Looking Glass, it is a bizarre sequel to Alice's adventures in the Rabbit Hole - where she experiences life on the other side of a mirror... it is a nonsense story, and it all begins on November 4th...

This is where our parallel begins today... On November 4th, Americans (and the world) entered into a nonsensical sequel to Bill Clinton's presidency - where many of the same characters returned, but their roles and stories are much more bizarre than the last time we met them.

Obama is a pawn of the White Queen... and will be seated in a throne if he can reach the 8th rank in the Red King's territory... He begins his journey, but finds that he is unfamiliar with the rules of the game, and does not understand the complexity contained within the simplicity of his role...

He has begun reading his 100 day plan - only to the rest of the country it is the Jabberwocky... a nonsense poem, only able to be read if held backward to a mirror - full of nonsense words and an imaginary story of slaying an imaginary beast... Obama's understanding of what he is doing to the fabric of this nation is similar to Alice's understand of the Jabberwocky Poem:
"Somehow it seems to fill my head with ideas – only I don't exactly know what they are!"
His nonsensical advisers, Tweedledee and Tweedledum - let's call them Emanuel and Geitner, whisper nursery rhymes into his ear - namely The Walrus and the Carpenter - which tells a story of two characters who invite all the oysters of the beach to join them - and against the warning of the elder oysters, they all flock to the Walrus and the Carpenter, who eat every one of them... The Walrus cries for what he has done, not because the Oysters are dead, but because there are no more to eat... This is the story of the economy - and the taxpayers of the nation are the oysters... Obama and his cabinet are the Two Predatory Characters... their intent is to devour the taxpayers - and they are unable to see the err in their ways, and will surely cry when they realize there is nothing left to tax... nothing left for their government to devour.

Then, Obama is met by The Lion and the Unicorn - Two parties both fighting for the crown of the White King - which is nonsensical because they are both belong to the White King, America. The lion is slow and stupid, though clearly the better fighter... the Unicorn is convinced that Obama is a monster, and pledges to believe in him only if Obama believes in the Unicorn... The lion is the GOP, the Unicorn is the Democratic Party - they both belong to a nation of states, but in an attempt to destroy the Lion, the Unicorn has pledged to start believing in the "monster"...
The lion and the unicorn were fighting for the crown
The lion beat the unicorn all around the town.
Some gave them white bread, and some gave them brown;
Some gave them plum cake and drummed them out of town

Obama's quest for a throne is taking this nation on a nonsensical journey, into a new paradigm where nonsense is the norm... where submission is empowerment... where a step forward off the cliff's edge is considered progress.

It is an unfortunate reality that, as Alice was able to wake up back into her real world, Obama has locked America into the world of the Looking Glass.

Obama's journey into the Looking Glass has distorted the ideals of Liberty... he is a pawn of the system, but is trying for the throne... we are all Oysters showing up for a clam bake...

What Obama has found on the other side of the looking glass, he prefers - and we are all stuck in this nonsensical world with him because of it.

Obama's Draft - Mandatory Civil Service Revisited

An issue still burning in the back of my head is Obama's plan for mandatory civil service. Rahm Emanuel, in the following video clip, indicated that "citizenship is not an entitlement program" - that every consumer, to earn citizenship, will be forced into mandatory 3 month basic training courses for "national defense"...

National Defense - from the same ilk who wants to disarm American Citizens.

Mandatory Citizenship Training - from the same ilk who wants to allow a one world, border free society.

This is nothing more than an indoctrination... once the spiritless, soulless Obama agenda is laid out, it will be time to indoctrinate those needed to defend his new regime... how to hate those who disagree... how to harass and/or hurt those who do not conform... similar tactics as those he espoused in Nevada during the campaign - "Get in their faces"...

If we do not recognize the tidal wave threat, and we continue to be a news-cycle and political party of reaction, then we have already lost and he has already won.

For those politicians who WANTED Obama to succeed, indoctrination classes will be starting soon.

For those of us brave enough to stand up and say that "I hope he Fails", you are the first, the last, and the only line of defense for our Core Values, our Core Principles - Liberty...

God Speed, warriors of freedom!

The Future Is Now

Hollywood has consistently used the election of a Black President (or a woman) to indicate a future scenario...

* Morgan Freeman is President when the world is threatened by an Extinction Sized Asteroid in the near future of Earth in Deep Impact.

* Dennis Haysbert is the President in the near future terrorist fighting storyline of 24.

* Tom Lister is President in the sci-fi comedy (?) set in a time of flying cars and interstellar conflict - the Fifth Element.

* Terry Crews is President in the horribly idiotic futuristic Idiocracy.

* James Earl Jones is President in The Man, after a series of deaths leaves him as the next in line for the seat.

There is no doubt that Hollywood has been a major player in bringing about the social change in the idea of a Black President, and their efforts are applauded. In a country whose founding documents included a 3/5 clause, it is a milestone for skin color relations to have a President who, at one time, could not live freely in certain parts of this nation.

That being said, according to Hollywood standards, we are now in the Future - and in the future there is nothing but catastrophe, despair, and end-times scenarios... Keep your eyes on the skies in search of asteroids, flying cars, and alien creatures bent on interstellar dominance.

Otherwise - for us non-Hollywood types... just keep your eyes on your wallets! Obama will need to pay for his social programs somehow... and the only drilling he supports is in the pocketbooks of Americans...

Echo of the Life Argument Against Obama

I received a Courtesy Copy of an E-mail sent between two friends, one of whom I work closely with. The e-mail, posted below, was in regards to Obama's leftism regarding economic matters and abortion. I would like to share the body of this message with you, my readers, as a follow up to my previous post about Obama's stance on Partial Birth Abortion. (Bold text is for emphasis and has been added by me.)

Sayo,

There were two points in which you told me I was wrong: Obama's voting record and USA's Corporate Tax Rates. I stand by what I said during our conversation.

Here is a ranking that shows that Barrack Obama was ranked as the most liberal senator in 2007.

If we do not stand up for the most helpless in our society, then what possibly could be more righteous. Who could be more helpless of a group than our unborn children created in the image of God fashioned by His Hand? Do we dare support a group who openly 'destroys' life, which is a nice way of saying 'murders' our children?

Slap a man. . . it's an insult and a misdemeanor
Slap a child. . . it's abuse and a felony.
Slice open a child in the womb. . . it's unspeakable but called a Choice?

Slice open a million children EACH YEAR in the USA . . . Even barbaric or demonic are too kind!

For this, America is receiving God's wrath!

Or maybe we should stop calling ourselves Americans and start calling ourselves Ninevites! But even the Ninevites didn't kill their own children in the womb just those of their enemies! This stupidity of minimizing the importance of this genocide is unprecedented.

How can I face my Lord who created life and say to Him that I supported an organization or leader who openly supports destroying life? I will NOT! I might as well join forces with the very one who kills, steals and destroys. Do NOT be deceived - sugar coated poison still kills. No amount of charisma will make it okay to support an accomplice to epoch mass murder.

30+ million murdered unborn children just in the USA alone. More than Rwanda, Darfur, Hitler and Stalin combined. We live in the true Killing Fields. I will not ever bow or be fooled into supporting a leader who says that this is an acceptable policy. Nor will I ever believe that this is not the prominent crisis facing America. Anything else that I hear be it poverty, education, war in Iraq, drunk driving, global warming, gun rights, racism, the environment, the economy, gay rights, labor rights, nothing compares! Name any issue in the US that has caused the murder directly or even indirectly of 1.3 million souls in 2007. If there is such a cause let's put it above this issue of life and death. If not let us all repent and then stand up and stop this abomination!!!

Thanks Jay. You stated the case for life very eloquently, and it is greatly appreciated. Indeed, this is the number one issue facing our society today. That it is not the rally cry for the GOP is due, in part, because McCain's stance is not far from Obama's. Thank Heaven for Sarah Palin!

It's Veep Time!

Presumptive Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama has scheduled his VP announcement for Friday August 22nd. John McCain has stated that he plans to make his announcement on August 29th, the day after the Democratic Convention.

Fox News reports on Obama:
Obama was believed to have narrowed his list to Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine,
Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Kansas Gov. Kathleen
Sebelius. While it seemed increasingly unlikely that he would choose his
vanquished rival, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, some Democrats
speculated Monday that he could pull a surprise and pick her.

I agree that it is highly unlikely that Obama selects Clinton as his running mate. Not only did they have a bitter dispute for the nomination, but selecting Clinton would be a sign that he is lacking Washington experience. Not to mention it would be the epitome of putting a fox in the hen-house.

As well, Obama is unlikely to pick Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. The Democrats in support of Clinton would be up in arms over a no-name woman VP candidate cutting in line in front of their woman candidate. Obama is limited, then, to selecting a male candidate - Kaine, Biden, or Bayh from the list above. (of course there may be someone else, but I am tending to side with speculators in the know)

Bayh would be a selection of necessity for executive experience on the ticket. He served as Secretary of State, Governor and currently Senator for Indiana. An Obama-Bayh ticket would prove difficult to overcome in the Great Lakes states, but may not fair so well in southern states, though it would mark a decisive lurch towards the center for Obama.

Kaine is another choice representing the need for executive experience on the ticket. The Virginian Governor accepting the nomination would turn Virginia over to a Republican Lt. Governor, Bill Bolling. This would make Virginia a hot race in 2009 as Democrats would have to double their efforts to uproot an incumbent Republican.

Joe Biden would be a closer fit for the TRUE Obama - a radical leftist liberal in favor of socializing the US. Biden would bring foreign policy experience to the ticket, but selecting Biden would isolate Centrist Democrats, possibly giving them directly to McCain.

No doubt, the announcement of Obama's Veep announcement is timed to change headlines from his horrific showing over the weekend on the political forum, in which he is being slammed very hard for a number of lies and an inability to shake the "Not Ready To Lead" stigma, as he came across very inexperienced.

McCain's selection will be discussed further at a later time - however, picking a reformist woman such as Gov Palin would lock the conservative voters and pull Clinton voters in who were looking for casting a feminist vote. More to come as this develops.

OBAMA a FLOP: Say Anything to Get Elected

In yet another dramatic flip-flop on his original policy, Barack Hussein Obama now says he is in favor of fully funding the space program – a program which was to be on the chopping block for his proposed budget so as to support his socialized federal education plan.

This is another prime example of why Obama is unfit to lead this country – he is so unsure as to his own beliefs and his own direction, that he is constantly changing policy at the whims of the masses. This is a guy willing to say anything to get an applause… which further begs the Question: Who the Hell is this guy, anyway?

This is another story that is not going to get picked up by the MSM… another flop that will be ignored… and ultimately Obama’s plan for space will be heralded by the MSM as innovative and forward thinking… Never mind that his core belief is that the US does not need a space program as much as it needs federalized education! In fact, as we speak the records of Obama’s plans for space and education are being scrubbed from all websites and news reports… typical of Orwellian tyrants – changing history to always appear on the right.

Unfortunately for the power hungry elites, such as Obama, the masses have the resolve to educate and communicate. We will work at our level to ensure the truth is never erased.

Let’s take a closer look at Obama’s notable flops:

The Washington Post reported on Feb 25th, 2008 their top 5 flops from Obama –
1. Special Interests – regarding donations accepted from Unions (a point he used to tople John Edwards’ campaign)
2. Public Financing – which he has now completely flopped on, taking millions in untracked small donations (less than $20 does not need to be tracked – a loophole that can allow a single entity to untrack multiple $20 donations to the sums of millions – which technically is very illegal)
3. The Cuba embargo – in 2004 he declared that it was a failed policy, but in 2007 talking to voters in Miami he declared that it was an effective tool – to the cheers of the masses.
4. Illegal immigration – he was first opposed to going after employers, then in a 2008 debate he was for going after employers, a complete reversal
5. Decriminalization of Marijuana – while speaking to college students he opposed laws making pot illegal, but flopped during his presidential bid stating that he supported laws making pot illegal.

Since that article, Obama has begun flip-flopping on so many issues it is hard to keep track of. Three major flops that represent a sprint to the middle:

Offshore Drilling – since Pelosi turned out the lights on Republicans, and polls began to show that the GOP was in the right to get the vote on exploratory drilling, Obama has now changed his position to line up with the polls, supporting the Republican mantra of “Drill here, drill now”.

Iraq/Afghanistan – vehemently opposed to the war, Obama now is stating that he will take the advice of the generals on the ground to ensure victory in Iraq, and he is calling for a massive troop build-up in Afghanistan to end the violence in that country (so much for being the anti-war candidate)

Space Exploration – while addressing voters in the space state, Florida, Obama made his most recent flop stating that he will now fully fund NASA, and will not push to mothball the Constellation Moon program of Bush.

The Associated Press adds to the list:
On Iraq, Obama said Thursday that his upcoming trip there might lead him to refine his promise to quickly remove U.S. troops from the war.

He now supports broader authority for the government's eavesdropping program and legal immunity for telecommunications companies that participated in it, after opposing a similar bill last year.

After the Supreme Court overturned the District of Columbia's gun ban, the handgun-control proponent said he favors both an individual's right to own a gun as well as government's right to regulate ownership.

Obama became the first major-party candidate to reject public financing for the general election after earlier promises to accept it.

He not only embraced but promised to expand Bush's program to give more anti-poverty grants to religious groups, a split with Democratic orthodoxy.

He objected to the Supreme Court's decision outlawing the death penalty for child rapists, even though he has been anti-capital punishment.

Obama also said "mental distress" should not count as a health exception that would permit a late-term abortion, saying "it has to be a serious physical issue," addressing a matter considered crucial to abortion rights activists.

Campaign promises that are in direct conflict with his core beliefs… Obama is on a series stumps where he is going on the record, publicly flip-flopping… where John Kerry was labelled a flip-flop for the smallest changes, Obama takes the game to a whole new level.

The carelessness and ease in these policy changes should be a warning flag to anyone considering voting in the 2008 presidential election. A candidate with no strong core beliefs, with no values, with nothing more than popular polls guiding his every decision is a candidate who will do nothing to bring change to the nation.

Barack Obama is a sham candidate – completely unprepared to take an executive post – completely unprepared to take a stand and defend it on principle. He has no principles, he stands for nothing.

Colorado: Obama or McCain?

The Quinnipiac University polls shows McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, the top choice among 46 percent of likely Colorado voters. Democrat Barack Obama is the top choice among 44 percent of likely voters. A month ago, Obama had an easy 5 point lead over McCain.

This is at the same time when Democratic candidate for Senate in Colorado blew a 10 point lead in the polls to Republican Bob Schaffer, now polling within the margin of error of Udall.

"Not surprisingly, Obama's strength is in the Denver/Boulder precincts where he leads almost two-to-one, while he trails everywhere else in the state. As the presidential race has tilted a bit toward McCain, GOP Senate candidate Bob Schaffer has moved into a dead heat after trailing Democrat Mark Udall by 10 points a month ago," Brown said. "
The poll shows that Democrats are taking hits because of the price of gasoline... This may or may not be the case (see my previous post on "who is to blame"), but the continuous Democratic talking points stating that high gas prices are good for us because it is demanding alternative means of energy production does not sit well with the voters - however true that statement is. The Democrats are coming out as "out-of-touch" with the reality of the voters, that it is impossible for us to maintain this gas spending even after we have cut back to driving to work only... it hurt at $2.00 a gallon - it kills at $4.00 a gallon... and when some are saying that they wish the prices would continue to increase (droping consumption, and stopping Global Warming). Meanwhile, the price of oil has dropped $20 a barrell since President Bush announced the repeal of the Executive Order banning deep sea offshore drilling. If Congress followed suit, I could foresee oil futures dropping well below $80 a barrel within weeks of such an announcement. Current oil prices are a result of lack of exploration, and the fact that all known sources of oil are going to be depleted within 40-60 years...

But this is not just a Colorado trend. Across the nation, Democrats are taking big hits in these early polls, which they usually do well in up to about November 3rd... Other swing state results in which McCain is closing the gap are:

  • Colorado: McCain is up by a nose 46 - 44 percent, compared to a 49 - 44 percent Obama lead June 26;
  • Michigan: Obama tops McCain 46 - 42 percent, compared to a 48 - 42 percent lead last time;
  • Minnesota: Obama edges ahead 46 - 44 percent, compared to a 54 - 37 percent Obama lead;
  • Wisconsin: Obama leads McCain 50 - 39 percent, compared to 52 - 39 percent.

Democrats were winning on the energy issue as recently as April -- convincing voters that their recipe for alternative fuels, wind and solar energy, was the best solution for America's future, public opinion guru Floyd Ciruli said this morning.

"Then it shifted in April, when gasoline hit $4 a gallon," said Ciruli, who heads Ciruli & Associates of Denver.

Suddenly, the pain at the gas pump was so acute that most voters moved away from the idealistic view of an American energy diet and looked for who to blame for the high prices, he said.

They chose the Democrats, who've opposed drilling off shore and in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge, in the name of environmental sustainability.

Voters in each of the four battleground states support off-shore drilling and drilling in the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge — activities that McCain supports but Obama opposes. In Colorado, the margin is 52 percent to 44 percent.

This is great news for Republicans, and shows a trend that favors economics and energy issues beginning to dominate the political spectrum - namely because of the successes in Iraq. If the GOP can put a stamp on the success in Iraq, claim it as their own, put the emphasis back on Osama Bin Laden and Afghanistan with a security policy in that region - the Democrats will surely lose. Their success since 2006 has been based on a referendum on Iraq... With Iraq off the table, the GOP stands to bounce back - for the following reasons:

- We have the best policy for plausible energy alternatives, and ending the immediate energy crisis
- We have the best economic recovery plan, one that does NOT include raising taxes (Mr Obama)
- We have the best plan for active conservation of our national parks, as opposed to the radical policy that has lead to the death of large percentages of forests, etc
- We have the best plan for foreign policy - Peace through strength
- We have the best plan for education

Applying small government solutions to these problems is the best way to solve problems.

Success in Iraq - Mission Accomplished?

How does one go about measuring success in Iraq? The benchmarks set forth for the fledgling Iraqi government are nearly met (15 of 18 successfully met), violence and casualties are at a nearly all time low, and the government is able to act independently from the US forces.

In fact, countries that had been opposed to the war have begun bidding for free market contracts in helping rebuild the economy of the country - China, France. The economy is being stimulated by debt relief and re-establishment of foreign relations with it's neighbors - the UAE just forgave $7 Billion in debt accrued under Saddam.

Today, the Iraqi government made it clear that they intend the US to hand over control and security of the country shortly after the UN mandate for security of the country expires at the end of 2008. The government has made it clear that they are ready to assist the US with a phased withdrawal, proposing a timetable that would be conditioned on the ability of Iraqi forces to provide security. Iraqi police are battle hardened, after being dug in with their American counterparts; the tiny air force may be ready to take control of the airspace of Iraq, defending it from foreign invaders (Iran); and the people of Iraq have taken personal roles in ensuring safety and security in their own communities, often aiding in the routing of local thugs.

Could this mean that regardless of the Presidential race, the US will begin a withdrawal supported by the Iraqi government in early 2009? And is this the elusive "Mission Accomplished" that Bush has been looking for in Iraq?

I would say that this success, and the ability of Iraq to secure itself, is a victory for the United States. This is a war that is ready to be ended, but not for political reasons... because the country is ready for the war to be over.

The US should maintain a presence in the region for stability, as in Germany and Japan post WWII (and Korea, post TKW)... of course, at the request (or agreement) of the US backed Iraqi government.

If this is a successful end to the war, perhaps that is why Obama has flip-flopped on the issue and is now "considering the input from the generals on the ground"... I guess it feels good to be on a winning team after all!

Denver's Pepsi Center Not Large Enough for Obama's Head?

Barack Obama will not accept the Democratic nomination at Pepsi Center in front of the 20,000 volunteers and delegates... instead he has chosen a larger venue to offer himself to the people - INVESCO at Mile High.

This move will be cause for change to city planning, state planning, and protester planning that has been in the works for some time.

But what it does is try to portray Obama as "the peoples candidate"... as in the "People's Republic of Obama"?

The acceptance speech is already going to be broadcast worldwide... what is Obama trying to show by snubbing the convention process in favor of a giant venue? His campaign's explanation is that he wants to make himself available to young folks who are new to the process...

While I would usually agree that this is a great idea, the 11th hour change to accommodate Obama's wishes is a sign of his arrogance and pompousness as he is dubbing himself Mr Inevitable... Alas, good sir... The American people are now watching you... and this intimate affair you have been having with the MSM is going to be coming to an end... The people of America will start to see your record, your habits, your confidants, and your true colors.

Hugh Hewitt, whom many of my long time readers know that I agree with rarely on Presidential Politics, has posted some great talking points regarding the True Obama. I will share some of them here, and we can begin to discuss why Obama cannot win in November.

1. He had a stumbling, bumbling close to his primary campaign, and the opening weeks of his general campaign have been marked by flip flops and lurches left. - Hillary Clinton made some of her biggest gains against Obama in the last few contests. Obama proved that he is not ready to handle a general election match-up.

2. He's hard left. - I have said it many times over, Barack Obama will implement change in America that will ensure that the United States of America becomes the United Socialist States of America.

3. He wants the marginal rate on total federal taxes, including his social security tax hike, to immediately rise at least 57% on the highest earners. Obama wants to raise taxes even in a weak economy, though this is a recipe not just for recession but worse. Obama also wants to raise taxes on dividend income and to return the death tax to its highs of eight years ago. - The top 1% of wage earners in the US already pay 50% of the total tax revenue, while the bottom 50% of wage earners pay 3% of the total revenue. The top 1% are the job creators. They are the innovative and motivated. They bear the highest burden of our society already, a burden that if it becomes too hard to bear may take them out of the game. Imagine if you earned $99 and paid $10 in taxes because you were in a lower tax bracket... That is where the middle class finds itself. Now imagine that you work overtime on the weekends to try and put your children through college, and you earn $101, putting you into a higher tax bracket... Now you pay $45 because you worked harder and earned more. It would have been more beneficial to NOT WORK and take the $89 instead of bustin' your hump to end up with $56.

4. Obama has proposed more than a trillion dollars in new spending - That is not total budget, like GW Bush's $3.1 Trillion budget he just sent to congress... it is additional spending. With no spending cuts for failed programs, no stop to earmarks, that brings the US federal budget to an unprecedented $6.1 Trillion.

5. He thinks the most liberal member of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, is a great model for future Supreme Court appointments - Please see my post about the Heller v DC Supreme Court Case to see how this one would turn out.

6. Obama is not a strong friend of Israel. He spent 20 years in a church that was openly hostile to Israel, and he reversed himself on Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel after one day of criticism by Palestinians - I have posted my feelings many times regarding Israel, and their right to exist as a free country. Obama's embrace of the Muslim Countries to the extent that they regard Israel as a nuisance is the most troubling, especially to Jews who fight for life and religious freedom every day in that tiny country.

7. He supports abortion on demand, including partial birth abortion - The founders wrote in the Declaration of Independence that we were Endowed by Nature's God with certain inalienable rights, the most important was Life (as it was listed first). The Right To Life is the single most fundamental right that every being, every soul, has. It is more than just a "burden" that parents have to endure, being "punished with a baby" (Obama - "if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby")... it is a responsibility for the action of sexual intercourse, and a result that, if unwanted, should not punish the child with death! Obama is absolutely wrong and extremely left-ward on his approach to abortion in the US.

The list continues, and I will continue to work so that all 75,000 seats in that stadium are empty, or at least filled with those who know Obama's looming damage to the country and the world.
