Prayer, Meditation, and the Power of Positive Thought
Over the past years I have been in search of universal religious truths. I have looked at ancient faiths, ancient rituals, and ancient myths and compared them to those of modern religions, even comparing modern religions across the board in search of universal truths. I believe that these truths are the secret to human spirituality, and the tie that binds man to his fellow man. Despite the religious wars, the cursing and damnation of "other religions", and the general chaos of the multitude of organized religion, there is an astounding revelation: We are all the same.
There is one fundamental truth in particular that binds men together, across all religions and all time. Prayer works. Whether you call it prayer, meditation, or simply positive thought there is an energy associated with that action that is crucial to our great awareness of the truth.
A thought is biologically a collection of electrochemical neuron firings, actual measurable energy. All objects that exist are composed of energy. At the atomic and subatomic level all things that exist are protons, neutrons, and electrons buzzing around reacting with one another. Just as we do not actually "touch" the chair in which we are sitting (we float above it repelled by the resistance between the EM forces of us and it), our thoughts and prayers need only exist to create a potential for force on an outside object. The power of thought and prayer can move mountains - it is the understanding of HOW that mountain is going to be moved that is the trick.
An object at rest will remain at rest until acted upon by an outside force - Newton's first law. If thought is a measurable energy, it has the potential to provide the force required to move the object. Am I talking about levitating mountains with our mind? Not exactly - but in an infinite universe, that which can be imagined can be realized.
The existence of a positive thought, a prayer, or a positive meditation has the potential to be the force required to set the reality of the thought into motion. The science of the self, the science of the soul... it is the universal truth known to few in history, taught time and again only to have it lost in translation. The realization of the human potential is the reason why we are here and to understand the potential we posses in our simple ability to focus thought, prayer, or meditation is key to that realization.
Consider this truth when you gather with your families this coming weekend. The focus of positive energy can change lives... it can move mountains. Meditate on the positive, spread the message of joy and love amongst your family members. Consider that your positive energy and positive work is being used to put down the negatives we are faced with... be it our own hardships or national and world crises. The power of a smile, a laugh, or to love is a power that attracts the energy of the soul.
How can you change your life in a way to incorporate positive thought into all you do? How can you better your life by improving that of those around you?
Happy Thanksgiving, readers. Remember that when the ridiculous that has become our reality seems too much, check your bearings and ask yourself if you are focused on the negative and contributing to the collective negative energy, or if you are looking for the positive and contributing to the collective positive energy... it is the classic battle of good versus evil... the soul realizes potential with positive thought and is mired with the negative.
Bless you all as we move into the Holy Season... whatever your faith or disposition.

Liberals and the "God Problem" - Obama Claims to "Hear God"
Recent attacks on Sarah Palin, because she is a practicing Christian, have directed the argument in that matter - if a Conservative is a Christian, they must be some Radical Crusader hell bent on converting Americans by the thousands.
The Obamedia has been reporting on half-truths and outright lies regarding Sarah Palin claiming that the war in Iraq is a mission from God - even ABC's Charlie Gibson attempted a hack job attack on Sarah Palin regarding a half-quote from a speech she gave.
The truth of the quote, however, was that Sarah Palin was suggesting that all things we do in the US, be it in war and peace, we should pray that they are being done out of God's Will, not our own - and that prayer should help us determine what is the right course of actions. It was a paraphrase of Abraham Lincoln's belief that what he was doing in maintaining the Union was the will of God, lest the north should not win.
Sarah Palin prays, and is demonized because of it. Because the Liberals want to strike fear in the heart of their fellow man that love of God is wrong? Because Liberals want to start a panic that Christians are hell-bent on bringing the inquisition to the United States? Yes. But it is all lies.
Where Conservatives are hated for their faith, Liberals are embraced for their bravery in standing up for liberal ideals under the tyranny of Christian Values... or it is ignored all together, as if discussing a Liberal's faith is off limits.
In January, Barack Obama gave an interview with Beliefnet.com, in which he CLAIMED HE HEARS THE VOICE OF GOD:
The prayer that I tell myself every night is a fairly simple one: I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that my sins are forgiven, that my family is protected and that I am an instrument of God's will. I'm constantly trying to align myself to what I think he calls on me to do. And sometimes you hear it strongly and sometimes that voice is more muted. Why is it that Charlie Gibson does not berate Obama over the claims that he hears the voice of God? Why doesn't Saturday Night Live do a skit suggesting that because Obama is a Christian that he thinks dinosaurs are a failed animal which lived 4000 years ago?
The answer is simple. The left use religion as a tool to attack the right - claiming that religion is for the fools and ignorant to "cling to". The left have pushed themselves so far from religion or spirituality that to pin someone as religious is to slander them as a radical idiot.
The left embrace the religion of secularism, not of the state but of the self. They embrace the religion of Atheism, forcing the perception that there is no God but the government.
So what problem comes when Barack Obama claims to hear the voice of God? From the left, there is none. They won't acknowledge the claim.

Denver's Pepsi Center Not Large Enough for Obama's Head?
This move will be cause for change to city planning, state planning, and protester planning that has been in the works for some time.
But what it does is try to portray Obama as "the peoples candidate"... as in the "People's Republic of Obama"?
The acceptance speech is already going to be broadcast worldwide... what is Obama trying to show by snubbing the convention process in favor of a giant venue? His campaign's explanation is that he wants to make himself available to young folks who are new to the process...
While I would usually agree that this is a great idea, the 11th hour change to accommodate Obama's wishes is a sign of his arrogance and pompousness as he is dubbing himself Mr Inevitable... Alas, good sir... The American people are now watching you... and this intimate affair you have been having with the MSM is going to be coming to an end... The people of America will start to see your record, your habits, your confidants, and your true colors.
Hugh Hewitt, whom many of my long time readers know that I agree with rarely on Presidential Politics, has posted some great talking points regarding the True Obama. I will share some of them here, and we can begin to discuss why Obama cannot win in November.
1. He had a stumbling, bumbling close to his primary campaign, and the opening weeks of his general campaign have been marked by flip flops and lurches left. - Hillary Clinton made some of her biggest gains against Obama in the last few contests. Obama proved that he is not ready to handle a general election match-up.
2. He's hard left. - I have said it many times over, Barack Obama will implement change in America that will ensure that the United States of America becomes the United Socialist States of America.
3. He wants the marginal rate on total federal taxes, including his social security tax hike, to immediately rise at least 57% on the highest earners. Obama wants to raise taxes even in a weak economy, though this is a recipe not just for recession but worse. Obama also wants to raise taxes on dividend income and to return the death tax to its highs of eight years ago. - The top 1% of wage earners in the US already pay 50% of the total tax revenue, while the bottom 50% of wage earners pay 3% of the total revenue. The top 1% are the job creators. They are the innovative and motivated. They bear the highest burden of our society already, a burden that if it becomes too hard to bear may take them out of the game. Imagine if you earned $99 and paid $10 in taxes because you were in a lower tax bracket... That is where the middle class finds itself. Now imagine that you work overtime on the weekends to try and put your children through college, and you earn $101, putting you into a higher tax bracket... Now you pay $45 because you worked harder and earned more. It would have been more beneficial to NOT WORK and take the $89 instead of bustin' your hump to end up with $56.
4. Obama has proposed more than a trillion dollars in new spending - That is not total budget, like GW Bush's $3.1 Trillion budget he just sent to congress... it is additional spending. With no spending cuts for failed programs, no stop to earmarks, that brings the US federal budget to an unprecedented $6.1 Trillion.
5. He thinks the most liberal member of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, is a great model for future Supreme Court appointments - Please see my post about the Heller v DC Supreme Court Case to see how this one would turn out.
6. Obama is not a strong friend of Israel. He spent 20 years in a church that was openly hostile to Israel, and he reversed himself on Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel after one day of criticism by Palestinians - I have posted my feelings many times regarding Israel, and their right to exist as a free country. Obama's embrace of the Muslim Countries to the extent that they regard Israel as a nuisance is the most troubling, especially to Jews who fight for life and religious freedom every day in that tiny country.
7. He supports abortion on demand, including partial birth abortion - The founders wrote in the Declaration of Independence that we were Endowed by Nature's God with certain inalienable rights, the most important was Life (as it was listed first). The Right To Life is the single most fundamental right that every being, every soul, has. It is more than just a "burden" that parents have to endure, being "punished with a baby" (Obama - "if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby")... it is a responsibility for the action of sexual intercourse, and a result that, if unwanted, should not punish the child with death! Obama is absolutely wrong and extremely left-ward on his approach to abortion in the US.
The list continues, and I will continue to work so that all 75,000 seats in that stadium are empty, or at least filled with those who know Obama's looming damage to the country and the world.

Religion by Prophets... My Thoughts
Prophets. The wisest of the wise. Said by followers to be speaking on behalf of or directly and divinely inspired by their god. Their revelations are the foundation of religion or religious beliefs.
I wanted to dedicate this entry to peeling back the onion of religion, and asking the important questions…
My first question is that if all of the prophets of all of the religions are the human manifestation of the Mouth of the Divine, how can their followers, then, be so inclined to kill the others in other religions divinely inspired? If all prophets speak for The Creator, how can the messages be so skewed as to spark war and hatred? If all the religions, all the churches are “right” in their own mind, how is it that all others are therefore “wrong”?
I thought we were commanded to not be the judge of others, lest we offer ourselves to be judged the same?
In pondering these questions, I decided to take a look at the founders of modern religion (for the major religions impacting others), and by founders I mean prophets, and best attempt to identify characteristics that better define the status of religion as we know it today. For those of you who are devout religious followers of one or the other of these religions, please feel free to respond. I am sure that what I am about to say will offend at least ONE of my readers.
Buddha – The Prophet of Wisdom
The philosophy of Buddha was one that enlightenment occurred only once the mind was under complete control. The control of the self meant control of the desires or temptations which cause harm to our spiritual beings by way of distracting us from our true spiritual journey.
“Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts”
Buddha’s enlightenment was a result of the quest of absolute control over the self. Control over lust and desires of the body and the earth. The teaching of Buddhism is such that we should seek universal balance in all things, most importantly ourselves, and in doing so we will all find enlightenment. Without this quest, we are distracted and will surely come to be reborn, as our souls have not finished their task in learning and knowing the self.
Buddhist philosophy is fundamental to the theory of all religions, that meditation is the key to a higher existence… be it Nirvana or Heaven, the ability to control even our own thoughts is an essential part of spiritual growth. Founders of Judeo/Christian and other high profile religions reached spiritual growth and religious enlightenment while practicing the very thing that Buddha taught: Active Self Denial and Meditation. Buddha was wise, and has provided insight into the most essential aspect of Divinity.
Moses – The Prophet of Liberty and Law
Moses, born in poverty and adopted into the richest of riches, gave up his fortunes and his crown when he realized that he was actually an Israelite, and began a quest of faith. His philosophy was one of freedom of the individual from bondage, the right for all men to be free, and the deliverer of the commandments of the first covenant between Divinity and humanity. The commandments were the basis for the Golden Rule: That which you would have others do for you, do unto them.
Moses’ prophecy was one in harmonizing civilization. Treat others as you would prefer to be treated: do not kill them, do not steal from them, do not act immorally with another or another’s spouse… The basis for peace on earth.
Moses’ philosophy was sound, in that the key to utopia on earth is freedom to the extent that you do not infringe on another person’s freedom. It is the very basis of the society in which we live today (here in the US anyway). Moses offered civil order in a time when people were drunk with their new found freedom. It was a reminder that as a basis for humanity, we must first have social order. Without social order, one cannot be expected to find enlightenment.
Yashua – The Prophet of Love
Yashua’s birth and early life is clouded in mystery. Some speculate that he was born from a virgin as the incarnation of the Creator, and as such is the Son of God. Where the events of his conception and birth are speculative, his prophecy cannot be ignored. Yashua was the son of a poor carpenter, but was drawn to strict study of the religious texts of David (the old testament). Yashua’s enlightenment came while, much like Moses and Buddha, he was in a state of active self denial and meditation. During his meditation he was tempted on many occasions, but his denial of the temptations led him to the events that were well documented in the last three years of his life. Of course most of you recognize Yashua as “Jesus”, but of course the name Jesus never existed in ancient Hebrew…
Yashua’s prophecy was that of defining absolute love in humanity and Divinity. The teachings of the Messiah were such that it is not correct to worship a god, rather to celebrate the Love of a Father for His children on earth. It was the first time in the Judeo world that fear was not being preached as being the heart of faith, rather love. He reasoned that you should keep the commandments not out of fear of punishment, but out of love for your neighbor. That love would, in turn, be bestowed back upon you. He provided a break from the absolutes of established religion, in that if man searched for spiritual clarity, he would find it. He reinforced the acts of self denial and meditation, and provided this as the path to spiritual satisfaction.
• Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
• Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
• Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
• Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
• Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
• Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
• Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
• Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Muhammad – The Prophet of Death
Muhammad was born in Mecca in Saudi Arabia in 570. Mohammed was a deeply spiritual man, and often spent time in meditation on Mount Hira. One night in 610 he was praying and meditating in a cave on the mountain when he was visited by the angel Jibreel who ordered him to "recite". These recitation became known as the Qu'ran, in which the essential message is that there is no God but Allah, and that a Muslim should live in complete submission and surrender to the will of Allah. Muhammed began preaching and he attracted many followers, however, his popularity was such that he was forced out of Mecca by those who were fearful of his large following. Within 10 years Muhammed had gained enough followers and he was able to return to Mecca and conquer it from those who had forced him to leave. Muhammad continued to lead his community both spiritually and in earthly matters until his death in 632.
The founder of Islam was well versed in the teachings of both the old and new testaments. In fact, his “recitation” was merely a re-write of these texts. The text of the Qu’ran became a lesson in submission to religious leaders / spiritual leaders… of which he was one. It became a tool for him to rule indefinitely over his people, and as such make them holy warriors in carrying out his bidding, such as sacking Mecca in his name.
The prophecy of Muhammad was one which has led in the opposite direction of the teachings of the aforementioned spiritual figures… instead of wisdom, freedom, and love the teachings referred to submission and recitation of Muhammed’s works, including the killing of those not deemed to be worthy of life for one reason or another, because their existence is an insult to allah.
Summary – I was going to go into a short list of false prophets, such as Joseph Smith and his prophecy of a fantasy land in existence in America, but I decided that I had enough to make some points about religion versus spirituality.
Religion is Islam… the complete submission of one’s self before a god, to worship as slaves in hope of peace after death. In fact, modern Christianity makes many references to fearing god and worshipping in fear that you will be cast aside on judgement day.
In fact, the very founders of their respective religions (excluding Muhammed) understood that religion was of man, and was corrupt. Man’s basic nature was to give in to their basic desires and inhibit the freedoms of their fellow man… but rising above the desire of man was the key to spiritual freedom, and the key to utopia on earth.
So to answer my original questions, in looking at what the founders and prophets actually said, not what their followers have built around them, is that the key to spirituality is meditation, self denial, and spiritual individualism on a quest to elevate the self to enlightenment. What is “right” is what leads to peace for all men, not just those allowed to live… What is right is spiritual freedom. What is right is the control of the self, bothering with only the self, and teaching enlightenment, not forcing religion.

The purpose of all things
As a community of bloggers, citizens of the internet, we tend to spend much time analyzing and prognosticating... discussing issues and arguing the meaning of results... the free exchange of intellectual thoughts and ideas... sharing ourselves for a common cause. A cause protected by the Constitution... endowed as an inalienable right... Liberty... freedom to think... freedom to speak.
As we move forward through the political waters, I am reminded on a number of occasions that spiritual growth is essential as a part of personal growth.
So I thought this was a perfect place to share my thoughts on praise...
When I prepared the funeral for my Best Friend's father, Skip Hildebrand, I found myself in prayer... prayer that I could find the words within myself to capture the nature of Skip's spirit. While I was in prayer, I was reminded of Skip's obsession with lighthouses... and I thought of what these towers of light represent. Hope, for the ships lost at sea that land is nearby. Warning, that ships tossed about on the sea should heed the warning of the rocks which will surely break them. And Faith in Fellow Man, that it is our natural instinct to protect one another against all adversity. I wrote a moving eulogy, which was reinforced later that day. After reading the Biblical passages and words in memory of his father, my best friend played for me his father's favorite song... Kathy Troccoli's "Go Light Your World". I broke down in tears and exalted the Creator for allowing me to find the words, for answering my prayers, and for letting me know that no truer words could be spoken about the soul of Skip Hildebrand. There is no feeling like the one when you realize that you are in tune with the Creator, and doing His will.
That was a long four years ago... and though I find myself in meditation daily, and searching for the next mission or sign that I am living my life in a way that is right with the Teacher, the miracles are few and far between, though the signs are in abundance (and I am blessed that I recognize them). I am blessed with family, friends, health, and the ability to pray and meditate freely. I am blessed that by June I will be a father of a precious little girl. I am blessed that I am part of a community of thinkers able to understand and discuss. I am even blessed that my life was touched by a wonderful addition of our rescued dog, Sadie... who is a beautiful soul!
The point that I am trying to make is that all things have a purpose. The rise and fall of country and men... all for a purpose. The gaining or loss of wealth... all for a purpose. There is a time to every purpose under heaven. The purpose of man is to rejoice and do good in his life, and know that the fruits of his labour are the gifts from the Creator, our Father in Heaven, YHWH.
In all that we do, let us sing praise to the Father. Let us not worship, but thank. Let us not idolize, but emulate. Let us know that the strength we find beating in our hearts is the love of the Divine.
Let us each take a moment every day, not to ask for miracles, but to thank our Creator for the miracles around us... Let us raise our hearts and voices in praise... ×”ַלְלוּ×™ָ×”ּ ... Halleluyah
As we move forward through the political waters, I am reminded on a number of occasions that spiritual growth is essential as a part of personal growth.

Halleluyah

I KEEL You - a Fatwa against Bin Laden and others
I was checking the Fox News headlines and was inspired by what I saw to write this post. A Muslim Cleric issued a Fatwa against a Bollywood actor for having a Wax Statue made in his likeness.
But what about photos? How is taking a photo of someone and hanging it on the wall any different than painting that same person's likeness and hanging it on the wall?
And if Photos are then outlawed, should videos be allowed... videos are simply a series of photos strung together and run back at a high rate!
I am not a "muslim scholar", so according to Sharia, I cannot issue a fatwa... but what the hey... I'll do it anyway...
Osama bin Laden... BAM - Fatwa... for all your videos. Your creation of your own likeness has caused idolatry for you and your efforts of jihad. For this, I sentence you to death.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - BAM - Fatwa... for the many photos of you in the papers, and videos of your many useless speeches in which you attempt to gain support in the coming war against the United States.
Tom Cruise - BAM - Fatwa... for the Scientology video that I can't go a day without hearing someone talk about, and your many movies that have raised you to Idol status, especially Rain Man... that was a good one... but Fatwa nonetheless.
Hey... this is fun! Depending on how I decide to interpret Sharia Law, I can call for the death of all these people, and I am not responsible if some crazy follower goes out and takes action!
***Note, This posting is intended to offend! I am mocking the very logic and reason of the Muslim Clerics, who call for the killing of an actor on the basis that he allowed a wax sculpture to be made in his likeness. It is ridiculous!
And to finish it off... enjoy this: I KEEL YOU!
Mufti Salim Ahmad Qasmi, a Muslim cleric in India, issued the fatwa, saying theSo, I got to thinking about how literal you could take these Islamic laws... and I began thinking about the strictest sense of creating a depiction of a living thing... Now, we all see that it includes wax statues of men... anyone watching Afghanistan in the 90's saw the Buddhist Statues destroyed, so stone statues are out. Apparently paintings including any living thing are out too... and most importantly, no cartoons of Muhammad!
statue is illegal according to the Sharia, which forbids depictions of all
living creatures, Mohammad in particular. A mufti is a Muslim scholar who
interprets the Sharia, or the religious law of Islam; a fatwa is a legal opinion
or ruling handed down by an Islamic scholar.
But what about photos? How is taking a photo of someone and hanging it on the wall any different than painting that same person's likeness and hanging it on the wall?
And if Photos are then outlawed, should videos be allowed... videos are simply a series of photos strung together and run back at a high rate!

Can Democracy Survive in the Middle East?
Their basis rejecting being ruled by the King of England was not in favor of rule by a church in their own land, rather a recognition of the basic rights of humanity, and building on that principle, founding a government of the people.
Now it is well discussed that during the American Revolution there were about 1/3 who were "gung-ho" for fighting the British, about 1/3 who decided to stay neutral, and about 1/3 who remained loyal to the crown. The Revolution came about on a political and militaristic front, keeping opposition at bay while maintaining and winning the war.
So now, I want to consider the requirements for freedom, and ask whether the people in the Middle East can actually survive in a democracy, and enjoy liberty.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." - Benjamin Franklin
All of the countries of the middle east seem to have a Theocratic form of government... even the more secular countries are still under increased pressure from the Muslim Leaders. The theocratic rule is impossible to contest, because the laws and enforcement of those laws are the "word of god" (sic). And as we have seen in the last few years, the theocratic radicals are highly motivated to fight for maintaining their form of prophetic doctrine by ruling over the people with fear of having "god's punishment" handed to you. This would represent the 1/3 loyal to the crown, or in this case, loyal to their religious leaders.
In countries like Sudan, you are not only killed for being Christian, but you are sentenced to death without trial by the people for allowing a teddy bear to be named "Muhammad". In Saudi Arabia, you are not allowed to make the mark "X" as it too closely resembles the Christian Cross... punishment could include life imprisonment. In Iran you are hanged for homosexuality.
What we see is the ability for a democracy to be created, and to survive... if Democracy, in the crudest terms, simply meant "Majority Rule"... but American Democracy is something different... something that can not exist in that part of the world without drastic changes. American Democracy includes Liberty. The ability to lose a vote, but challenge the outcome... to be wrong, but still be heard... to live how one chooses without fear of persecution or death for choices... the only place where the mind, body, and spirit can be free (current government oversteps excluded - we are talking ideology here). In these countries, you do not have the same respect for basic human rights... You do not have the freedom to protest, not even in order to stay your own execution.
The 1/3 who want change in these countries cannot say so for fear of death. The other 1/3 seem content, until their son or daughter is killed by masked men because they were seen showing too much skin or not praying the correct way.
"Fear is the foundation of most governments." - John Adams
"...give me liberty, or give me death!" - Patrick Henry - March 23, 1775
If Democracy is becoming a gift given to people, misused by electing leadership that promises to harm others for political or religious gain... then Democracy is little more than a mob rule. We can fight to give it to any and all countries.. Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine... and it is a gift in which there is no understanding of the meaning, or the intent. The people are sure to squander it, and will find themselves once again in bondage.
But if Liberty is a prerequisite for Democracy, and the understanding of the principles of basic human rights are fully understood... well, then my friends, we will surely see a Middle East destined to be free.
Have we seen signs of this happening? For sure, there have been some. In Iraq, the people have begun rising up against the terrorists, fighting for their own peace. So there are signs of hope... but they are as brief flashes in a sea of despair. One can only hope that Liberty as well as Democracy takes hold in the Middle East, and true freedom and peace will prevail.

Using US freedom to take down the US?
The World Net Daily released an article on Saturday, outing a Washington D.C. Imam who has been openly discussing his plan to destroy the US government and replace it with the Islamic State of North America by the year 2050.
Imagine that. They or their parents/grandparents immigrate to this country... the land free of oppression, open to all who want to live a life in the pursuit of whatever makes you happy. And once they get here, they decide that they don't approve of how everyone else is living, and plan to change it into an oppressive land, just like the one they fled.
What I don't understand about Muslims is why do you think that your religion trumps any other? What has your religion done to your society? The Middle East was the cradle of civilization, but has since become a cesspool of violence and non-advancement. The cause? Islam!
Now you see that the world has begun doing something great for humanity! We are advancing science, technology, space travel, free enterprise, art, and other various forms of culture... and your only answer is to "Behead those who insult islam"... Your instinct is to destroy advancements, destroy progress...
And the audacity to openly share your plans to take over our free land...
That is exactly why I am a gun owner. This is the very reason that my children will be well trained in current firearm use. And this is the reason that you will have one hell of a fight on your hands.
Your Religion of Peace is nothing more than a plague on this great world. As with any plague, you can only survive if you spread... and as with any plague, it is up to those who do not wish to be infected to protect ourselves.
I, for one, will not live to see a day where Islam trumps the freedoms of the US. I will surely give my life to protect the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that would strive to destroy the greatest experiment in self-government and freedom that the world has ever known.
So I say to As-Sabiquin... bring it on you crazy sons-of-bitches! It will be my pleasure to make an example out of you!
*As a note to my readers, I apologize for the harsh words, but I have such trouble believing that this can be taking place in the US, and no-one is daring to stand up and speak out... well, let me be among the first!

Jews and Muslims share Holy days...
An interesting piece of information from one of my links, "The Religion of Peace":
This year Islam and Judaism's holiest holidays overlapped for 10 days.Muslims racked up 397 dead bodies in 94 terror attacks across 10 countries during this time... while Jews worked on their 159th Nobel Prize...

A great commentary on the absurdities in the Muslim world, and a stark contrast to the "Evil Jews" that they are fighting against. How can any one of them not see this difference?

Why Islam is Dangerous
The more that I hear groups like CAIR and the Nation of Islam trying to convince me that they advocate for a religion of peace, I am intrigued by the daily reminders to the contrary.
In this case, the British crown has knighted an author who was at one point allegedly insulted Islam... (for which the Muslim leadership (Ayatollah) issued a fatwa calling for the author's death). And now there are protests in Pakistan calling for his death again, and for attacks (including suicide) against British interests...
So let me understand this:
*writing a book that "allegedly" insults you is cause for the author's
death... no judge or jury. No trial... just a slimy little man calling for
minions to carry out murder from the comforts of his home.*The knighting of someone who has been "sentenced" to death by the
religion of peace is a call to arms for all suicide bombers around the
world?
Sounds peaceful enough... where do I sign up?
On second thought, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE! You are propagating violence and murder on a catastrophic level because some guy WROTE A BOOK. Or because some guy DREW A CARTOON. Are you frigging kidding me?
The groups listed above have a catchy little phrase used to throw at those of us who make statements about Islam... "You are just afraid because you don't understand it"...

Hey, Geniuses in the Religion of Peace: Try understanding that there are those of us who have a different opinion, and instead of fearfully calling for our killing, try understanding a different point of view.
I would like for ONE, JUST ONE Muslim leader to come out and try to calm the rhetoric, and calls for killing, and jihad talk... and I don't mean here on the safe streets of the USA... I mean in downtown Tehran, Baghdad, Islamabad, Cairo, Istanbul... I dare you!!! Then, and ONLY then will I consider that ANYONE can TRULY believe that Islam is a religion of peace.

Fixing the Middle East
World news... filling the front pages with images of violence, terror, religious unrest. But for what? To what end?In Ireland, Christian is pitted against Christian. In Asia and the Middle East you find Muslims fighting one another (and everyone else). Africa is home to genocide of biblical proportions...
Try as we may, we (the powers that be) will never be successful in "fixing" the problems caused by religious indifference if we (the people of this planet) do not fully understand how it is that we are all connected.
The three main world religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) have a common beginning... the Patriarchs, none of which belonged to one of the "big three". Noah, Abraham, Moses, they are more than names in a religious text... they are the tie that binds the world together. They were normal men, entrusted with the word of God, and made to be left as a reminder for when the world is lost.
These men did not belong to a church, they did not have religious texts... they were upright men, and in their time that made all the difference.
So in a world full of strife, pain, and torment... instead of world leaders demanding compromise, demanding revenge, or otherwise leading their followers along the same path, they should demand that each and every person on this planet look into their own hearts, asking themselves, "are my decisions upright?" If the inhabitants of the world took personal responsibility for the tears, sweat, and blood of every other member of our planet... well, that would be divine...
God Bless...
