Barack Obama's handling of the protests in the Middle East has caused US allies to question our alliance, and has placed otherwise stable constitutional countries in jeopardy. The region is in extreme blowback after a decades long policy of puppet regime in the region, and instead of securing interests of the US Empire, our federal government is supporting the rebellion and handing the outer regions of 'Rome' to the hoards.
Tunisia ousted their leader through protest. A strong US ally replaced by an unknown. Protests trickled into Algeria, Libya, and Egypt.
In Egypt, the world watched as one of the strongest US allies in the region was systematically defeated by protesters and backed by radical Islamic groups. What was more troubling was the involvement by the US President in a statement calling for the US ally to step down 'yesterday'. The Egyptian constitution was destroyed and the 30 year president turned power over to the military, leaving a gaping hole in the region's stability.
Sudan recently voted to split into two countries and civil war still rages in that country. The US has done little to secure that region, including a 'hands-off' approach during the genocide in that country over the last decade.
Lebanon has been a mess for years.
Protests have erupted in Jordan, leaving the US ally and King wondering if Obama will soon throw him under the bus to the protesters.
Yemenis have taken to the street looking to oust the US supported government with a potential to repeat Egyptian outcome within months.
The tiny island of Bahrain, home to the US 5th fleet, saw protests turn deadly in the main square, drawing larger crowds... it is only a matter of time before the protests grow further on increasing reports of protester casualties.
The United Arab Emirates has fallen victim to deadly protests, and the people are growing more violent against the harsh treatment of protesters by the government forces.
Iranian opposition leaders have taken the cue and have moved to the streets calling for an ouster of their theocratic regime. Iranian officials are calling for the quick arrest, prosecution, and death sentence for the opposition - kangaroo courts. Clinton and Obama have backed protesters against the Iranian government.
There are wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
What we are witness to is the death of the American Empire. Every single one of these countries, excluding Iran, are puppet states of the United States. They served as guaranteed allies in securing the mineral wealth of the oil-rich middle east for the purposes of consumption by the United States. Each of these regimes have been funded and aided by the US and US military, and play a strategic roll in US influence in the world. Losing the ease of dictatorial powers in the region affords a more level playing field by the people of those countries against the US in regional influence... thus affording less control of de-facto US territory... a loss of the territory, really.
With the increase in "Democracy" protests in the region, and the domino effect of collapsing regimes, the make-up of the entire region from North Africa into Persia is on the brink of drastic change. Old alliances are no longer secure. Regional security is no longer certain. Larger scale wars are almost inevitable.
Perhaps Obama's idiocy is his genius. Perhaps the collapse of US backed regimes is the first step in a post-Wilsonian US foreign policy. Maybe his quest for 'democracy by protest' (other than 'democracy by the gun') is the catalyst for decreased US influence and a return to world neutrality. Most likely, however, this has been one giant cluster-F, and Obama has no clue what is happening, what the consequences to our status-quo will be, or how to stop it from spreading beyond the borders of the Islamic world.
I last wrote a full article on 2012 Republican speculation in early October of 2009. Arguably, this is a different world than 13 months ago. The rate of change in the political spectrum over the course of the 2010 cycle has been so much so that one should stop to ponder some scientific source of free energy from it! That being said, it is time to look at some serious and not so serious issues facing the presidential elections of 2012.
To begin, one has to wonder what the current President is planning for 2012. Early speculators for the left are suggesting that Hillary is ready to jump in and save the party and the unpopular president, while others are publicly calling for the president to announce that he will not seek re-election now in order to stop short of absolute destruction of the Democratic Party. A saviour he was not! Of course, barring any major changes on the left, we should expect to see a very weak President unable to control his divided legislature and thus enter the race as a weak incumbent. His performance at the G20 summit and throughout Asia last week indicate that the world is no longer smelling what Barack is cooking!
The GOP faces two camps of contenders for 2012 - those who fell short in 2008 and those who are new to Presidential politics; Each has a strength and a weakness. Those who are past failures have name recognition, but also suffer from burn-out or simple distaste from the people - hey, we already said we didn't like your brand of politic. Those who are up and comers have the fresh sense of something new, but may struggle with name recognition on a serious national scale. For the old, they suffer from the changes over the past two years, as anyone can clearly tell 2012 is definitely no 2008 in the political world!
So, who is in and who is out for the GOP?
Fox News is running a series called "12 in 2012" where they highlight 12 candidates:
Those candidates includes: Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, South Dakota Sen. John Thune, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, Indiana Rep. Mike Pence, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. McPike reports, “A thirteenth story is also planned with long-shots such as former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, and others like Donald Trump.”
I had looked into the campaigns of some potentials (mentioned in my 2009 article linked above). Idaho Gov. Otter is out, carrying only 59% of his state when the Republican Senator snagged 71%. ND Gov Hoeven easily won election as the US Senator from ND with 76% of the vote. Some time on the federal stage could lend credence to his libertarian tilt. Gov. Luis Fortuño of Puerto Rico is single handedly turning the liberal state into a conservative economic model, and his campaigning in 2010 with others around the nation have lended credence to him as an early pick.
So, who is in? Who is out? No one is talking just yet. Word is that some are waiting until after the first of the year, and after the new congress is seated. Some are waiting a bit longer to see who is jumping into the race.
Of the list above, who would I NOT support? 1. Mitt Romney. He is a big government moderate who has gained nothing since 2008, and remains somewhat of an elitist with respect to the people and the media. He has nothing good to offer the GOP... unless you need someone to sell you a used car. 2. Bobby Jindahl. Anyone who votes 'yes' on making the Patriot Act permanent will never get my vote. He would be the Bob Dole of 2012, and is not significant enough to move this country back into the hands of the people. His horrible state of the union response in 2009 was both the beginning and the end of his national level political career. He is best left to the people of Louisiana. 3. Sarah Palin. I know Palin is a fan favorite, but she cannot beat Obama, and she cannot unite the base. Her career move to leave Alaska's Governorship in 2009 (after just two years) destroyed her credibility as an elected official. For whatever her purpose, the end did not justify the means. Her re-election campaign in 2010 would have been the training for 2012, and her two more years running up to that election plus two more ahead of the 2012 election would have given her significant executive experience. Instead she became a cheerleader for the tea party, in my mind washing away all the hope and respect I had for her as an elected official. 4. Newt Gingrich. He may have been third in line for the top spot in the nineties, but this is not the nineties. Newt Gingrich is a relic, and does not have what it takes to 'right' the sinking ship.
Who would I support? 1. Luis Fortuño. A PuertoRican bid for the presidency would send a shockwave through the nation. A territory of the US for over one hundred years, the island's population are US citizens, but hold no vote in the US federal government. They pay no federal taxes, but receive federal funds. Fortuño has spent the last two years reforming the island commonwealth into a tax haven, and has worked to drastically cut the size of the island's government - and the jobs that went with it. He is a rising star, and his campaign would not only draw a latino voting bloc, it would change the debate to one focused on our imperial policy of territories. 2. Ron Paul. His economic forecasts proved to be true. His foreign policy stance is very isolationist, much like most Americans pre-WWII. His followers have taken root in local and state parties across the nation, moving into key leadership positions. His backers have never quit the 2008 campaign. Ron Paul's followers are the reason for the Tea Party. The Campaign for Liberty has millions of followers. Ron Paul's appointment as the Chair of the Sub-Committee on Monetary Policy, which he will use to go after the Federal Reserve lends credence to his gain in popularity and credibility within the party, and the outcome of his crusade of the Fed could put him in a strong place to lead the field in 2012. 3. John Hoeven. If he can do something strong and dramatic within the Senate, he stands a chance to make a national name for himself. He is easily in the libertarian camp; arguably able to become the Ron Paul of the senate (notice Rand did not get that distinction). He did a great job in North Dakota, and could do a great job taking that same policy to D.C.
Others who Intrigue. 1. Lou Dobbs. There were feelers put out when he left CNN last year that he may be setting up for a 2012 run. Dobbs would do a great job in the mix. 2. Joe Arpaio. The Arizona County Sheriff will play the part of Tom Tancredo, getting tough on immigration. He holds general favor across the nation, and is already making the rounds.
Wikipedia is tracking 28 potential GOP contenders, with the prospect of a few more waiting in the wings. As the dust settles from November 2010, it will surely be interesting to see who decides to put a horse in the race for 2012.
Yet again the relationship between the Government and the People of this nation is being redefined. HR 5741 would obligate every US Citizen to two years of civil or military service under control of the Office of the President. Obligatory peacetime servitude to the US government - otherwise known as slavery.
"H.R. 5741 is currently being argued in the house of representatives. If passed, H.R. 5741 will give the president the power to require 2 years of compulsory service from every US resident between ages 18 and 42. That's not a misprint: everyone between ages eighteen and forty-two will be required to serve in any capacity at the president's whim."
This is, in the simplest terms, the President's private army. The following are excerpts from the resolution:
"It is the obligation of every citizen...to perform a period of national service." "The term 'national service' means military service or service in a civilian capacity...[and] obligation under this title shall be performed either (1) as a member of an active or reserve component of the uniformed services; or (2) in a civilian capacity that, as determined by the President, promotes national defense, including national or community service and service related to homeland security."
This resolution is the nationalization of the civilian population, granting two years obligatory servitude to the POTUS. If you refuse to volunteer for the military, you are required to conduct two years civil labor at the discretion of the POTUS... answering to the POTUS.
They came after the banks, wall street, the auto industry, the health industry... and now they are coming for YOU!
Imagine, a land of liberty where civil service is mandatory... where you are obligated to answer directly to the President (foregoing ANY local elected representation), to perform services deemed of the highest importance to securing the homeland.
This has got to stop - it has all gone too far. This is not my America. My America is one personal responsibility, individual liberty, and of a government who answers to the people - not the other way around. As always, it is my obligation to resist.
Should this pass and become law, I will resist to the fullest extent allowed under the constitution, to which I am sworn to uphold and defend. I will resist to the highest fiber of my moral being, guided by natures God, who reminds me that liberty is a self evident right for all men. I will resist this, and any unjust law, for as Martin Luther King Jr wrote from his Jail Cell in Birmingham, AL: "There are just laws and there are unjust laws. I would agree with St. Augustine that an unjust law is no law at all... One who breaks an unjust law must do it openly, lovingly...I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust...is in reality expressing the very highest respect for law."
The next civil war in this country will be fought in the hearts and minds of the citizenry. There are two Americas, as I have said time and again. One America who supports and defends individual liberty and responsiblity, and another who supports government dominance in all things, the absence of liberty. I side with liberty. Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils.
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Officials have stated that they will "not necessarily" process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona. Instead, Obama and his legal team are investigating Arizona and Arizona Officials for breaches of Civil Liberties. Protect the law breakers while attacking the law enforcers - Change, indeed!
These ICE officials are on the federal payroll, being paid OUR TAX DOLLARS to perform a job function with the specific job description of dealing with those further detained for immigrations and customs violations. Their neglect to perform their job function is political partisan hackery, and is malicious in nature toward a sovereign state.
The simple fact is this - Arizona did NOTHING more than adopt federal law into state law, allowing the state level agencies to enforce federal laws where federal officials are lacking (slacking). In doing so, Arizona has caused the true colors of the Obama white house to come out with regards to border enforcement - CANARY YELLOW!
EVERY OTHER COUNTRY in the WORLD seems to understand the importance of protecting their borders, and that the freedoms and benefits of their country won't continue to exist without the political cohesion that only borders can provide.
The Federal Government not only is derelict in their duties, they are actively and openly attacking a sovereign state. Is THIS the last straw? How far must they go before we announce that the Federal Government no longer has authority to make ANY decision for ANY state or free citizen? Do we wait until they roll tanks up to the AZ Capitol? Do we wait until they send US troops from 'Northern Command' to pacify the state troopers and city officers enforcing the border laws?
On December 29th, 1890, as the United States rounded up the last bands of Sioux Indians for confinement on the reservation, a small group of lightly armed natives fell victim to the Executive Ordered genocide of their people in a little known event called 'The Battle at Wounded Knee', or more popularly 'The Wounded Knee Masacre'. Wounded Knee was the United State's revenge for Custard at Little Big Horn, and an act of aggression that finally broke the backs, and the spirits, of the Lakota People, the Sioux. The US Army's 7th Cavalry, with orders to eliminate the native population of the plains and the Black Hills, committed acts of mass genocide, including hunting down fleeing women and children, often times leaving their corpses on the prairie to rot. On this particular day, the 7th Cavalry encircled the Sioux and unleashed hell with automatic style weapons until nearly half of the Sioux encampment was dead - a band who had already surrendered and who was in the process of disarming. An act of murder, an act of genocide, and an act of cowardice. The bodies of the men, women, and children were left exposed to the winter weather of the plains for some time and eventually placed into a mass grave - known now as the Wounded Knee Memorial on the Pine Ridge Sioux Reservation.
The aggression, unfortunately, has not subsided. After more than 100 years, many court battles, Supreme Court Rulings, and a current rise in education and activism by the Sioux, the tensions between the Lakotah and the US Military is still extremely high. Most recently the US Army sent a delegation from the 7th Cavalry to the Wounded Knee site, which was met with protest and 'Counting Coup' - an act of challenging your enemy by running up to him and tapping him before battle. There are many questions involving this occurrence. To begin, if the US Army intended to plan an arrival on the reservation, what purpose does it serve to send blackhawk helicopters - vehicles of war? What purpose was served by sending the 7th cavalry - the same group responsible for the massacre of the Sioux Population? What purpose was served by landing the helicopters on the burial site of the massacred Sioux - a most sacred and hallowed ground?
The answer is simple - In Obama's Inaugural speech he specifically stated that "The Lines of Tribes shall soon dissolve"... In America, there is only one group of people who define themselves as 'tribes' - those being the native peoples indigenous to this land.
Such an act of disrespect and aggression is on point with Obama's policy toward the tribes. The imagery was intentional - the warbirds of the 7th Cavalry returning home to their grounds of conquest, showing continued US Military dominance over the tribal peoples of the Lakotah. An attempted desecration of hallowed ground was no accident, rather a message that the people buried there deserve no respect from the US Government.
And so it goes across the land, where the few struggle to maintain their sovereignty and dignity, the federal government rushes in with force and intended imagery: We are everywhere, and we control you.
Battle on, brave Lakotah Warriors. Protect the land that is hallowed by the blood of your ancestors. Battle on for your people, for my people, and for the dark pages of American history that make slavery seem small potatoes. Maintain your culture, your land, and the pride of being Sioux.
On the verge of financial ruin, the United States federal government seems determined to continue spending, printing, taxing, and deflating monies representative of the nation. With each billion spent, each trillion debt increased, and each bond sold to foreign investors, the strength of the United States is reduced, if ever so slightly, until the entire foundation is found to be eliminated. Like a risky game of Jenga, the central government must be concerned about state insurrection against their diminishing powers.
I bring this topic to the forefront as a headline flashed upon my screen over the weekend that got very little play: Governors want in on Health Care Summit.
That is right. The governors of the 50 states are directly challenging the powers of the federal Representatives, Senators, and the President himself, asserting their powers over the teetering central government - namely because the states and the people are going to be asked to foot this bill.
In short, the states, in coming to the table, are stating that they have the right to elect NOT to participate if the proposal is deemed bad for the states, by the STATE government and the PEOPLE.
The power of this nation does now, and always will rest in the hands of the people of the states. Obama, the congress, and the federal government in general is about to bear witness to wide scale nullification, general insurrection, and the complete loss of their authoritarian control over the peoples of this land.
Rebellion is the beating heart on which this country was founded. It should be no shock that nullification is the natural progression in such over reaching proposals.
We all knew to expect the Bush blaming. We all knew to expect him to attempt to pass off failures of his first year as Republican partisanship. We all knew that through his slick tongue would be harsh words for the opposition, and lies aimed at misleading many otherwise uninformed Americans.
Obama is exactly what we needed in a post-Bush era... namely because he embodies all that is wrong with the political make-up of this nation, and it forces the people to look at themselves and the decisions which they made - finally taking some time for introspection and personal responsibility in selecting their elected leaders. His broken promises and extreme leftist push for "fundamental change" in America have been a wake-up call to this nation that BIGGER government, MORE intrusion, MORE debt are NOT what this country wants, needs, or can afford.
Obama's speech promised fantastic miracles like spending our way out of trillions in debt. He charged that Democrats need to retake the hill and cease their retreat merely due to elections... that they were elected with an expectation of fundamental change - that 2010 elections and future power be damned - they should use all means necessary to pass his entire agenda - even being so bold as to hint at reconciliation.
What was most was his battle cry in the closing statement. That HE would not back down, that HE would not quit until HE has fulfilled his promise of absolute destruction of a free America - to be replaced with his Alinsky style radical leftist regime.
And to him, all members of congress on both sides of the aisle, and the many people across this land - WE will not back down. WE will not cease. WE will not stand by idly and allow the states to be eliminated, the sovereignty to be destroyed, and the liberty and individual freedom of every citizen to be handed over to an authoritarian regime.
In what appears to be an historic defeat of Obama's radical leftism, the past few days have been witness to, perhaps, the greatest lurch toward the center from the far reaches of the radical left. Obama, the same President who believes that the Auto industry, Healthcare industry, Banking industry, etc have no place in a capitalist free market has proposed a very radical idea in regards to human space exploration - Give it to the free market.
The White House has decided to begin funding private companies to carry NASA astronauts into space, but the proposal faces major political and budget hurdles, according to people familiar with the matter. The controversial proposal, expected to be included in the Obama administration's next budget, would open a new chapter in the U.S. space program. The goal is to set up a multiyear, multi-billion-dollar initiative allowing private firms, including some start-ups, to compete to build and operate spacecraft capable of ferrying U.S. astronauts into orbit—and eventually deeper into the solar system.
As a veteran engineer in the aerospace industry, as well as a former employee of the NASA run Orion/Ares programs, I (for the first time since he has taken office) applaud the President. Where the Ares I rocket was nothing more than a money funnel and engineering disaster, private ventures like Space-X have developed and test flown the predecessor to their human rated launcher capable of servicing the ISS for about 1/10 the cost of NASA's Ares. Their Falcons are greener, cheaper, currently in production, and fully reusable. NASA has had one barely successful test of a mock-up Ares concept vehicle which revealed the further nightmare to follow (less about a Billion more dollars a year to fix), which is extremely inefficient, acoustically non-viable for human space flight, and economically impractical. The novel concept of eliminating governmental restrictions on human space flight, opening the frontier to start-ups which promotes innovation in space exploration technologies leaps and bounds above what the old dinosaur (NASA) could possibly conceive, is nothing short of Goldwater style governing.
This idea of privatization has already made heads explode at the "two liberal for Obama" (2L4O) lefties, such as BlueLyon (who can be found in my daily blog recommendations section). The left is up in arms that "The One", with the power of a near super majority and all his grace, has in one short year surrendered to the opposition on the fundamental philosophy of state run EVERYTHING. The very idea of private ventures taking governmental bureaucracies to task on ANYTHING is in direct contradiction to the Marxist values embraced by Obama and his ilk on the left, leading one to wonder - WHY?
Why has Obama endorsed a spending freeze for all federal government agencies except defense? Why has Obama endorsed a tax cut the likes of first term George W. Bush? Why this sudden lurch to the right?
The answer is clear - it is election year and a great number of Alinsky style leftists are positioned to lose their seats, losing power for the left in the final two years of the Obama presidency. Obama's power of persuasion has been met with defeat after defeat on everything from major elections, such as last week's MA Senate Race, to the simplest task of bringing the Olympics to America. He has quickly become the least popular president after his first year in office, setting the stage for being the least popular president in the history of the country. The implementation of a Socialist Empire in America is crumbling... As such, the spending freeze, tax cuts, and budget cuts are being proposed by a man eager to win back the hearts and minds of the independents ahead of the 2010 election with hopes that in two more years he can ram through socialist ideal after socialist ideal.
Is it enough to fool some people? Perhaps. Is it enough of a veil to mask a failed first year? Maybe for some. Is it enough to hid the fact that these proposals are merely a PR mirage to cover up his true agenda? Not likely. Congressional Democrats are going to eat this president alive for abandoning their core values on the public stage, their Alinsky/Marxist values, at a time when they have held more power than any party in history. Their disarray will be clear as the elections move closer, and without the "Blame Bush" message, the Democrats have nothing left to offer other than failed socialist policies... and the people are becoming well aware of this.
In the State of the Union speech tonight I have to wonder, will a teary eyed Democrat stand up and shout down the President with a resounding "You Lie(d)", as the hopes and dreams of the radical left are systematically renounced by the one who would "Fundamentally Change" America?
"You will not be forsaken; you will not be forgotten. In this, your hour of greatest need, America stands with you...You must know that help is arriving."
Obama made this promise, a testament to the strength of the American people, backed by an army and navy of volunteer soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, despite our financial and personal hardships at home. Some gave time to a relief effort, packing supplies. Others gave cash through their church or Red Cross. Even in the poor areas, they gave... It is not an attribute of the American President, our political dealings, or the parties in power... it is something we are bred with in this collective of States - that when a neighbor is down and out, you lend a helping hand.
However, as with everything that comes with US governmental involvement, there are already strings attached...
Just as Obama offered the promise that "help is arriving", it is just days after telling now prosperous banks "we want our money back"... and moments after signing the Council of Governors Executive Order - a 'payback' of sorts for states who took the federal bail-out money... the big pay-off... So one has to wonder when Obama will tell Haitians "we want our money back"... Or perhaps something else.
I have heard from a few different sources the concept of making Haiti a US territory. Though tempting as the thought is, it only serves to feed the imperialistic nature of the beast that is DC. True, we will be giving billions in relief to the country, we have an army deployed, there is no viable government or infrastructure currently in place, and all that stands between the US and the western part of the Island Nation are the 10 Million people remaining - hungry and looking for basic necessity and leadership. Will Obama and the "one world government" he supports be so bold as to suggest that the US oversee the rebuilding efforts, enact martial law under US authority, and rebuild to US safety codes with US dollars?
Perhaps it will be guised as an "international effort" under the UN - but something seems off when even conservatives are suggesting the taking of Haiti as part of a "National Defense" measure to ensure Chavez or Castro regimes do not swoop in to enact authoritarian communist control over the territory.
Haiti has nothing to lose by accepting such an offer from the Untied States. The States of the Union have everything to lose by accepting a welfare state of 10 Million people with no viable industry, absolute impoverishment, majority of the population uneducated, and an infrastructure that has just been obliterated. Any efforts to turn the Haiti People into subjects of the Union should be met with absolute resistance.
Let's not confuse the fact that I believe we have a moral obligation as intellectuals with relative wealth to help in times of need - but we must empower the people of Haiti to rebuild - not turn them into another welfare society living on hand-outs of their neighbors... We should volunteer to clear the debris, bury the dead, reconnect to clean water, ensure basic means for sustainability, educate (on a free market basis) on the skills needed to sustain infrastructure in earthquake AND hurricane environments, and let the people of Haiti continue their path of self determination. This is the ONLY way for Haiti to succeed as an independent nation, free or otherwise. Education on permanent infrastructure, even at the Presidential Palace, can work miracles in this type of disaster - that, and a little rebar!
In closing, and as a reminder, if you hear grumblings of a US territory or other such insanity, remind folks that the US is a nation of sovereign states, not the protector of nanny states. Our humanitarian efforts may be mighty, but our imperialistic tendencies must be curbed. Plus, we have enough to worry about right here in the continental US as a constitutional crisis looms over our heads as early as Tuesday...
In regards to the previous post - I find it extremely peculiar that no major news media outlet has picked up the story of the Council of Governors, the reason behind the grossly authoritarian dictum, and the implications it has on the country as a Constitutional Republic.
No questions are being asked, and no answers are being demanded.
A President is not going to make an Executive Order that has no purpose - so WHY are not even FOXNEWS asking WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE?
In reading other blog posts and the chat boards full of comments, many are suggesting that this is in line with the federal prediction of a constitutional crisis regarding the complete collapse of the dollar or the upcoming Massachusetts US Senate election coming up on next Tuesday, where it looks as if a Republican is going to win Ted Kennedy's seat (and the Senate may delay swearing him in until after the temporary replacement votes YEA on Healthcare).
IF the country ends up in a constitutional crisis, there are specific segments of the Exec Order that are more important - such as the State National Guard Troops (the organized state militias) now being under the authority of the President instead of the Governor of the states... like a private military run by the Council and NOT the Senate (who has constitutional authority over the federal army). Such a private army can be used, such as in China during the Tienanmen Square incident, where New York Guards may be called to deploy to deal with civil unrest in Texas or Alaska, where Texan or Alaskan Guard Troops may refuse to fight their neighbors...
The implications of such a consolidation of power mean only ONE thing, that the President is ready for some strategic maneuvers against the free citizens of the states.

The Internet is buzzing about the latest Executive Order signed yesterday by Obama. The link before you will take you directly to the White House webpage where you will find, attached, the text written with the blood of Americans - metaphorically, of course.
This moment is the beginning of the end game, the coiling of the Leviathan around the throats of free men, free states, and free thoughts. It is a moment, as one commenter at MAinfo's website put it, that was destined to occur since the fateful April afternoon in 1865 at the Appomattox Court House.
What we lay witness to on THIS day is the end of the Constitutional Republic, and the beginning of something sinister.

For Immediate Release January 11, 2010 EXECUTIVE ORDER ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COUNCIL OF GOVERNORS
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,including section 1822 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-181), and in order to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State governments to protect our Nation and its people and property,it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Council of Governors.
(a) There is established a Council of Governors (Council).The Council shall consist of 10 State Governors appointed by the President (Members), of whom no more than five shall be of the same political party. The term of service for each Member appointed to serve on the Council shall be 2 years, but a Member may be reappointed for additional terms.
(b) The President shall designate two Members, who shall not be members of the same political party, to serve as Co-Chairs of the Council.
Sec. 2. Functions.
The Council shall meet at the call of the Secretary of Defense or the Co-Chairs of the Council to exchange views, information, or advice with the Secretary of Defense; the Secretary of Homeland Security; the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counter terrorism; the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement; the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas' Security Affairs; the Commander,United States Northern Command; the Chief, National Guard Bureau; the Commandant of the Coast Guard; and other appropriate officials of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, and appropriate officials of other executive departments or agencies as may be designated by the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of Homeland Security.
Such views, information, or advice shall concern: (a) matters involving the National Guard of the various States; (b) homeland defense; (c) civil support; (d) synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and (e) other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.
Sec. 3. Administration.
(a) The Secretary of Defense shall designate an Executive Director to coordinate the work of the Council. (b) Members shall serve without compensation for their work on the Council. However, Members shall be allowed travel expenses, including per diem in lieu of subsistence, as authorized by law. (c) Upon the joint request of the Co-Chairs of the Council, the Secretary of Defense shall, to the extent permitted by law and subject to the availability of appropriations, provide the Council with administrative support, assignment or detail of personnel, and information as may be necessary for the performance of the Council's functions. (d) The Council may establish subcommittees of the Council. These subcommittees shall consist exclusively of Members of the Council and any designated employees of a Member with authority to act on the Member's behalf, as appropriate to aid the Council in carrying out its functions under this order. (e) The Council may establish a charter that is consistent with the terms of this order to refine further its purpose,scope, and objectives and to allocate duties, as appropriate, among members.
Sec. 4. Definitions.
As used in this order: (a) the term "State" has the meaning provided in paragraph (15) of section 2 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002(6 U.S.C. 101(15)); and (b) the term "Governor" has the meaning provided in paragraph (5) of section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122(5)). (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect: (1) the authority granted by law to a department, agency, or the head thereof; or (2) functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary,administrative, or legislative proposals. (b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.
Sec. 5. General Provisions.
(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Now... this order, appears to be the first step in dissolution of the Houses of Congress, the consolidation of all Executive Power of the federation AND of the states into one executive, placing all military authority of the militia (National Guard) into the control of the Executive, where it was traditionally under the authority of the Governor.
The 'synchronization' of state militias into a federal authority is nothing short of seizing control of the state's ability to defend itself against a federal invasion in the case of nullification of the constitution, AND consolidates the power of this new force into the office of the Executive.
Why, as a free man, do I feel the cross hairs burning at my back? Is it because we have just witnessed, with the swoop of a pen, the executive nullification of the sovereignty of the states - the complete and final nail in the coffin for the constitutional division of power between states and the federal government - and namely the PEOPLE's right of self determination?

Russian Nuclear ICBM testing failure over Norway brings into question the timing of the test, occurring on the same day that American President, Barack Obama, heads to the country to accept the Nobel Peace Prize.
The amazing display of the failed test launch, as reported in my earlier article, drew speculation of wormhole devices, alien sightings, and the like. However, what was witnessed was an upper stage failure to a Nuclear Capable ICBM.
Navtex recorded a "No Fly" warning over the Russian White Sea for 0600 - 0900 on 09 December due to rocket launch in the region. For the Russians to deny launching a rocket is simply a lie. It was a planned launch.
The question that I have is simple: Why are the media outlets running the non-story of "mysterious lights over Norway" instead of asking the important questions about Russia's ICBM technologies development, the purpose of launching over Norway when the US President is en-route to that country, and what this means for the Obama administration's stance of eliminating advances in ICBM missile shields.
The media fails to ask those questions - so I will ask them to my readers!
Is the United State's President preparing for a civil uprising? According to the EUTimes' report posted November 28th, Russian Officials seem to be reporting an expected 'homeland troop build-up' of one million US deployed active military. The report indicates that Obama is expecting absolute civil unrest before the Spring.
Russian Military Analysts are reporting to Prime Minister Putin that US President Barack Obama has issued orders to his Northern Command’s (USNORTHCOM) top leader, US Air Force General Gene Renuart, to “begin immediately” increasing his military forces to 1 million troops by January 30, 2010, in what these reports warn is an expected outbreak of civil war within the United States before the end of winter.
I have previously posted opinions on Russia's expected US break-up here, have speculated on the Federal Government's plan and preparation to wage a civil war against the people here, and the destructive nature such a war would have on the citizens of the US here.
What many people fail to realize is that a comparison to the US Civil War for a situation such as the one in which we are finding ourselves is flat ignorance. The US Civil War of the mid 19th century was no Civil War. A Civil War is one in which there is a struggle for control of the government and the rule of a country. During what should be referred to as the War for Southern Independence there was no attempt to overthrow the US government, rather to be left alone and live under a form of government differing from that of the north. What we are faced with, instead, is a potential for mass rebellion by the people, not by a region of states.
The likelihood of full scale rebellion in the US is low, lacking organized resistance or leadership. The triggers, as suggested in the report are the bankrupting of the US economy and the destruction of the US dollar - both of which are happening before our eyes without organized resistance. Barring some large scale government invasion of the private sector, such as would be needed for gun confiscation, it is more likely that the subjects of the US will wait out the problems until 2010 elections, or press their state governments for nullification of any unconstitutional law.
The Kangaroo Court hearing surrounding Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is a mockery of the US judicial system, is a mockery of our military tribunal process, and serves no purpose other than to further degrade the character of the United States. The credibility of another branch of the United States Government is being called into question.
Let us consider two topics - one regarding the justification for the claim of a Kangaroo Court, and the other regarding Obama's intent.
A kangaroo court hearing is one in which we simply go through the motions, but where no due process was actually followed, and the outcome is known in advance. What due process are we expecting the KSM trial in New York to follow? By bringing KSM into US Civil Courts Obama has to be prepared to release him onto the streets if he is found 'not guilty' or if there is a mistrial. What other problems may we run into classifying this as a Kangaroo Trial?
1. the right to exclude evidence that is improperly obtained - KSM was water boarded hundreds of times. Water boarding has been defined as torture. All evidence obtained as a result of water boarding or other enhanced interrogation techniques is inadmissible... if it is allowed, the Court is a Kangaroo. Consider the fact that KSM was never given his Miranda Rights - that ALONE is basis for a mistrial!
2. the right not to be tried on secret evidence - the attorneys for KSM could push for the declassification of thousands of documents, procedures, personnel, locations, etc that will pin the US government into a corner - anything they do not declassify cannot be used for trial in prosecuting KSM.
3. the right to exclude judges or jurors on the grounds of partiality or conflict of interest - the very fact that the pool of jurors will be selected from citizens who live mere minutes away from Ground Zero in NYC is grounds for appeal and/or mistrial. To find an impartial NYC jury for a case regarding the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks - fat chance.
Any judge who follows the books to the letter would have to look at the case in one way - there is no possible way that KSM can receive a fair trial in the United States, let alone in New York City.
What will Obama say if a jury acquits him or hangs? What are we going to expect when the cameras and flash bulbs capture the moment when Khalid Sheikh Mohammed walks freely from the doors of the court house and into a waiting automobile, whisking him off to a destination unknown... free as OJ Simpson in 1995.
However - what if the US government refuses to release a man found innocent in the US courts? Obama and AG Holder are refusing to answer, but it appears as if an order has been given prior to the trial, that KSM will not be released... Are we to believe that the trial, then, serves no purpose? What good will come of such a trial?
Obama's motives are clear: destroy the credibility of the Justice System.
There is no faith in our economy. There is no faith in the Congress. There is no faith in the States. Soon there will be no faith in a functioning Justice system. To what end, Mr. Obama? Undoing 300 years of freedom and innovation for what?
When the courts fail, when the states fail, when the congress fails... what are we left with but a nation of slaves? Where has our liberty gone?
This trial is being paraded as Justice and proof that "America will do the right thing". It is nothing more than a Kangaroo Court aimed at damaging the credibility of the United States' Courts. This is a lose/lose situation for the US. Obama, and the US with him, is making a HUGE mistake.
The Obama administration has openly admitted that the sudden change in breast cancer screening is part of Health Care Rationing.
Their justification - In women between 30 - 50 we have only detected 1 with cancer for every 1900 screened... therefore it is not cost effective with a government program to screen in this age group.
Let me be deadly clear here - They have just placed the dollar value on a human life... the life of you, your mother, your sister, or your daughter... and that THEY may be the one whose life is saved due to this early detection, it is of no consequence to the government... Really, what can a cancer survivor provide to the government, anyway?
We are watching as the relationship between We The People and the Government is completely redefined to the extent that the government is laying the ground work for life valuation... In doing so, the government is telling US that we are no longer of value - that our health and our very life is of certain value (or lack of value) to THEM.
Look - if early detection is the key to surviving cancer, and we have detected that the cancer of America is the federal government, where do we go for the chemo? On a serious note, as a member of a family who lost a member to late detected breast cancer, another who survived uterine cancer, and lost another to thyroid cancer, I can tell you that we value our lives no less than any other - in fact, we are stronger and are living our lives as advocates for alternative medicine and alternative lifestyle - how to live in remission and stay healthy after cancer treatments. We reject the government rationing plan, or their valuation of human life... Early detection may help 1899 women sleep better knowing that they are cancer free - but for that one person, it may be the difference between life and death.
I choose life, even when the Obama administration prefers death.
A very long time ago, in a land very different from that which we find ourselves in on this day, a group of shopkeepers, farmers, and tradesmen signed with conviction a valiant decree of liberty to a tyrant king. This act of defiance began a war, and a way of life. The act was so noble that future laws of the land required no titles of nobility to be accepted by those of the land. These were a hearty people whose disdain for royalty liberated them from bondage.
This same people found themselves under attack some years later by another tyrant king. Kings of distant land followed by men who believed the kings to be living gods lusted for that which belonged to the youthful nation of curious men. After years of growth and many technological advances, this innovative people found themselves rising as the leader of the fight for universal freedom, freedom against the inherent tyranny of political dynasties, royal families, and most of all tyranny.
These are a people who blew the trumpet of liberty in the faces of tyranny, time and again establishing the independence and uniqueness of this great land. This is a people who, by example, inspired generations to long for personal freedom.
However, this land became over-run with greed, corruption, blood lust, and panic. The years of manifest destiny have long since left these once noble people, and the price for their greed is simply the return to bondage... what is most notable about this new found slavery is that the people of this land welcomed it with thunderous applause and warm celebrations. The people found themselves under attack, under tyrannical control from within, and where once great leaders and men of poise stood straight before the kings of other lands, they found themselves submitting to foreign leaders through the submission of their newly elected leaders.
The people of the land felt an unfamiliar chill on their neck... the chill of the storm clouds bringing a long and cold winter. It is left but to the few to remember the great cause, remember the wishes of the men who defied the kings, and one day restore the people their liberty.
Are these tears in my eyes those of sadness or anger? Is this feeling in the pit of my stomach anything other than utter disgust and growing contempt for the leadership of this nation?
Is this not a country born of the blood of free men? Is this not a country who defied tyranny, setting into motion a series of events that would forever change the relationship between men and their leaders? Are we not the United States of America? Are we not still free? ARE WE NOT STILL FREE?
Last month Obama set into motion a series of events that will effectively kill the last line of defense against tyranny in this nation, authorizing Sec. of State Clinton to sign an international arms ban treaty. This treaty will give the State Department authority to circumvent legislative process (and in turn eliminate public debate) and enforce international gun laws within the borders of the United States of America.
The right to keep and bear arms is being made illegal, not by legislation, but by Executive Order... with an effective intent of placing the entire nation under Marshal Law in order to disarm the people. Two days ago I discussed the use of brute force and intimidation over the healthcare of the nation, and over the collection of the nation's wealth - imagine the full force of the federal government in the coming disarmament of the subjects of this nation!
We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.
People... THIS IS HAPPENING... on OUR watch! We are bearing witness to the death of this nation... we are watching as the shackles of tyranny are closing on the throat of liberty.
The tears in my eyes are those of sorrow... for a people who sat idly by as they became slaves - powerless to do anything other than work for the good of the machine... produce a product that you are taxed for creating, which you are forced to purchase under government mandates and taxed again on your consumption... You are taxed on the land you live, the income you earn, the products you buy, the lifestyle you live. The government owns the banks, the money, the industry, the healthcare, and the guns... you are nothing more than a disposable worker of the party, a pawn in the irrelevant existance in which we are finding ourselves... Shame on us...
Have we forgotten the words of Patrick Henry - Give me liberty or give me death?
Perhaps the tears are sorrow for my realization that From my Cold Dead Hands is more than a witty motto spoken by the NRA - but a battle cry for our generation, stating simply to the Government: "Come and Get 'em!"

Pajama TV's Andrew Klaven addresses the "MMMmmm mmm mmmmmm, Barack Hussein Obama" sing along taking place at a NJ elementary school last June, widely publicized and discussed over the last few weeks. His satire is sharp and witty, his points are clear... and the more we get the message of ABSURDITY out about the worship of this man, the sooner we can be done with this cruel cruel joke!
As was commented by a viewer, Obama may not be Jesus... but he must be more powerful than Jesus... At least Obama can be worshipped inside public schools...
In another stunning turn of events this afternoon, Kanye West has given a press conference slamming Obama's win of the Nobel Peace Prize. What is most puzzling is that prior to the podium being completed for the announcement, Kanye West jumped onto the stage and grabbed the Microphone out of the set man's hands and began his speech impromptu.
Mr. West, most known for his famous outbursts and political rants, declared to the world that Beyonce should have won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.
"I'm sorry Mr. Obama... I don't want to cut you off or anything, but Beyonce has done more to promote World Peace than anyone. That's just what I'm saying, Beyonce should have won"
After his jaw dropping statement, Kanye dropped the microphone onto the stage floor and stumbled off to the nearest bar.
Kanye has declined further comment on the issue.
CNN fact checkers have determined that Beyonce has, in fact, accomplished more in her career to promote Peace and Stability in the World than Obama.
In a related story, MSNBC slammed CNN fact checkers for joining the new vast right wing conspiracy, and have declared CNN a racist organization for questioning the President.
On the very same morning that the United States targeted the Moon with a $79 Million 2.2 ton kinetic energy bomb, Oslo Norway announced that Obama, the President of the country who just attacked the moon, would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
It was asserted by General McChrystal that Obama use a show of force to put the Taliban on their heels, and after weeks of internal strife, countless meetings on the matter, and public opinion polling, Obama made the call to attack the moon's southern pole. The explosive event was seen by earth bound proletarians as they were making their way to the factories in the early hours of the morning. No military response has yet been detected from the moon, and the Taliban - lacking interest in modern astronomy or technology of any kind - was absolutely unaware of the event. No official response on the number of casualties, but it has been made clear that neither Bin Laden nor any Sr. Taliban or Al Qeada officials were injured in the attack.
Norway's response to the events of the morning was to grant Obama the Nobel Peace Prize, for his messianic ability to heal the world through touch, turn moon water into whines, and to remind him that the next time he is in Copenhagen, Denmark to just hop on a nice ferry and visit Norway too!
In other news, Obama refused to meet with 1989 Nobel Peace laureate Dali Lama, until he could meet with Imperialist Communist Chinese officials who claim the Dali Lama is a criminal for inciting revolutionary discussion over Chinese occupied Tibet. Obama stated that his snub of Mr. Lama was due, largely, to the fact that "the Chinese Government have my balls in a vice, and there is really nothing I could do to assist a criminal like the Dali Lama without the council of my rich Chinese pals."
Meanwhile, Obama is taking heat from pesky Americans who are concerned that his lack of pressure on Iran and the defunding of human rights watchdog groups are directly responsible for Iran's sense of empowerment and continued nuclear ambition. Israeli officials were left scratching their heads over the announcement of Obama's Nobel Peace Prize, and offered sincerest condolences to the citizens of the Moon after learning of their US bombardment.
Still, no official comment has been received from moon officials on the awarding of the prize, the snubbing of the Dali Lama, developments in Iran, or the recent attacks by the United States.

2. It appears that the lunar attack may have been repelled by the Moon Citizens. No clear evidence of debris clouds or impact were seen from earth. This may be an indicator that the Moon will, in fact, retaliate against the US.
3. Tom at tomnation.com has just informed us that Lunar Citizen and Dreamworks Icon "Fishing Pole Boy" may be the first confirmed casualty of the US lunar attack. Dreamworks has released the following photo:
It appears that Fishing Pole Boy was last seen near the Lunar South pole, near the region targeted for the US attack. Lunar Officials led a massive search and recovery effort which was called off when fragments of a tackle box were located scattered about the southern lunar surface. Dreamworks will be releasing a statement about the loss of their beloved icon. No statement is expected from the White House, who has been very tight lipped about the incident. Fishing Pole Boy is survived by his father, the Man in the Moon, his brother, Mac Tonight, and his domestic partner, the MTV Music Award.
