There is a local talk radio station which has, for many years, broadcast as "THE Talk Radio Station"... Beginning this week, as an indicator of the groundswell of conservatism, libertarianism, and political freedom being demanded by the people, they have changed the name of the station to "Freedom 570, KVI"
Why is this so important?
This is most noteable because it lends credence to the Tea Party movement, to the push for Liberty, and to the idea that OUR VALUES need to be mainstream - not RINO values, not moderate values - but inside the heart of every man, woman, and child there needs to beat a drum of liberty - freedom from an overbearing government of EITHER party.
In this change, they have brought back liberty minded hosts, changed the format of the line-up to support the voice of the people and dissiminate information, and adjusted the line-up to press local issues during peak traffic times - creating the chance for local activism to thrive.
Such an independent move by the leading talk show station in the Puget Sound Region is a positive sign that Liberty is on the rise, and that our generation will surely know freedom!
That is a VERY positive sign, especially given the traditionally-lefty lean of the area.
