Criticize the Govt, Get an FBI raid?

RT America reports: The people are being acclimated to government raids on government dissenters. Today, illegal raids are being conducted against anti-war protesters for suspect of providing material support for terrorism. That is right, protest the 'war on terror' or the US Govt, and be targeted for providing material aid to terrorism.

Interesting perspective from a Reagan Official:

"They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up."

- Pastor Martin Niemöller

There is no doubt in my mind that we are living in a police state. Constant serveillance, constant fear of government threat, the constant unknown related to the unpredictable nature of our federal government. These are but a few crimes against the people of these states.

  1. May God forgive us for thinking that if we only surrendered our liberty ... just a little bit at a time ... that the big ol' government would protect us.

We are recovering our sense of self - our idea of who God created us to be, with the God-sent liberties handed down from the Founders - but I wonder if it's too little, too late.

  2. Paul - it is NEVER too late... it just makes the struggle a little more tedious.

  3. Steven, I agree. It is never too late. The failure is the man who gives up. I will never give up on America or freedom.

Hopefully November will yield positive change, but we must hold all reps accountable for their actions, not just the members of one party or another. And we must look carefully at character issues.

  4. I wouldn't say that we are truly in a police state yet. If you want a good example of that look at Britian. Far too many CCTV cameras all over the place and only in the name of safety. I do beleive that if this trend continues we may be heared in that direction.

  5. The irony of this video is that a certifiable opportunist like Paul Craig Roberts has nobody but himself and people like him to blame for such a situation. Why?

If you go to the LewRockwell archives and look at all of the past work this guy had submitted over the years, he went from being a die-hard conservative back when President Bush assumed office to a hemped-up batty piece of moonfruit almost overnight. He has repeatedly accused the former administration for orchestrating 9/11, war crimes, treason, murder and election fraud. That's just for starters. For all of the criticism he made against President Bush and Republicans - he threw himself into the full mode of appeasement and embrace of the most unsavory, lunatic fringe of the hard-core socialist left.

What ultimately made all of this ironic is that all of the ideas presented in this video did not occur solely because of "...a government that has become too powerful"...

No, it happened because liberals - fueled by hate brought about in part because of the mentally unbalanced diatribes and outlandishly unsubstantiated accusations made by PCR and other liberals - created an angry coalition that voted in the most extreme leftist elements of the democrat party and gave them the keys to our kingdom when they elected Dr. Utopia back in 2008.

For all the accusations against Bush for what he and his administration were supposedly trying to "...do to America", look at the results.

Were they trying to create a theocracy?

    No. Not even close.

Were they targeting US citizens for drone attacks?

    No.

Did President Bush - despite all of the insanity directed against him - ever try to silence his critics and deny their freedom of speech?

    No. Not once.

Were democrats and liberal groups subjected to IRS audits and FBI raids?

    Nope.

Are you getting the pattern here? The problem isn't just government. "Government" is merely a vehicle.

The problem is liberalism. It's Statism. It's the same people that Paul Craig Roberts knowingly cast his lot with and actively supported that are doing ALL of the things that he accused President Bush and Republicans of doing - but they never did. President Obama, along with his fellow thugs in his administration...are the living embodiment of the very antithesis of the Constitutional Republic modeled for us by our Founders.

Paul Craig Roberts has the trustworthiness of a pedophile at Disneyland when it comes to the proper assignation of blame as to where our country has gone wrong.
